"Okay, what do we have here?." Faye woke up early the following morning, which was a shock for everyone in the house. Faye noticed that Barry was out of the house early this morning and she had a feeling that Barry was out doing something related to his 'metahuman' ability.
"Right now we are waiting on Barry. I'm going to call him now" Joe excused himself as he walked away with his phone to his ear. Faye shook her head as she made her way towards Eddie who was attempting to hack into the security footage.
Faye let out a small chuckle and smirked noticing the man struggling,
"You alright there, Ed?"
Eddie shook his head with a sigh, "Something is messing with the footage"
"Here let me try" Eddie gave the brunette a confused look but complied nonetheless moving out of the way so she could access the computer.
Fays fingers typed at a speed that left the detective surprised.Within minutes the footage started to play on the screen.
"Do you have a tablet?" Eddie nodded giving the girl the CCPD' tablet downloading the footage from the computer onto the tablet.
"There you have it Detective, one surveillance footage." Faye smiled giving him the tablet which now played the footage of the robbery, giving herself a mental pat on the back seeing the look on the young detective's face.
"How did you do that?" Eddie asked his girlfriend's best friend in surprise.
"Computers were my best friend growing up. It's what I'm good at.I think it runs in the family seeing how my sister is good at it too, though I'm pretty sure she is better then me" Faye shrugged as she watched the film seeing a masked man shot before shooting the security camera.
"Huh that's weird" Fayes muttered. Her eyebrows scrunched in confusion
"What's weird?"
"The footage shows only one shooter but I took a look at the crime scene when I got here and there were six pairs of footprints overlapping each other."
"Really?" Eddie curiously questioned
"Yeah but don't quote me. I'm better at computer science than forensic science" Faye walked away from the computer area in the back of the store and walking towards crime scene with the blonde detective following closely behind her
"You did pretty good when Barry was in his coma" Eddie commented making Faye smile
"Yeah but that was small stuff. I think we should wait for Barry to show up to get the facts right."Faye explained with a smile.
Eddie nodded at the Smoak girl as she played the footage on the tablet again. Faye and Eddie made their way over to Joe and the captain to show them the footage. Just as they made their way over, Barry had appeared running, at normal speed, into the crime scene. Faye phone silently vibrated as she received text messages but she ignored it for now.
"Perp made off with a bunch of handguns, at least six Glock 19s fitted with extra ammunition magazines.Somebody's looking to do a whole lot of bad." Joe informed his Captain as they stood in front of the crime scene
"Hey, sorry I'm late." Barry interrupted apologising, looking between Joe and the captain.
"Doing a little fall shopping, Mr.Allen?" Barry looked at his Captain confused..
Barry let out a nervous laugh as Joe ripped the price tag off his new jacket, "I was going so fast this morning, I didn't even notice."
"Faye downloaded the surveillance footage of the video camera. Looks like only one perp."
