How often do you think about why your friends came into your life?

Faye sat down at on the wooden bar stool drowning down a shot of tequila. She just felt like it. She laughed as Cisco made a face as he drowned down his. Barry and Caitlin joining in as Faye continued to take another shot, her face straight showing no signs of her cringing. Cisco got another two shots, one for failing and one to catch up to Faye. The brunette threw her hands in the air in joy.

Was it random, by design, or maybe a little of both? Regardless of the reason, some friends you just know are gonna be by your side for a while.

She made eye contact with the bartender. She held up four fingers signalling to her and her friends. He was quick to take out some shot glasses and pour the clear liquid in them. She explained to her friends a game she saw online. You have to take a shot and try not to make a face if you do you have to take another one as punishment. Caitlin was wary but happy to play for her friend. Cisco downright refused until she promised to buy him food afterwards. Barry just shrugged and took a shot in response. Challenge accepted. It was dangerous and she was excited to be playing with her best friends. They laughed, joked and teased each other. It made Faye happy to have friends like them in her life.

Others, you're not so sure.

Faye glanced at Iris is was playing darts with Eddie. They looked happy in each other's arms. Why couldn't she have that with someone?. She missed spending time with Iris. Her friend had a boyfriend now she felt as though they don't hang out like they used to anymore. Faye took another shot. She laughed while heartedly as Caitlin tapped out after taking her punishment shot. Cisco was next the stop saying he was going to stick to beer, hoping to survive tomorrow for work. He still wanted food at the end of the night.

And then there's that one friend who, well, you hope, someday becomes something more. But "friend" will have to do for now. And that's okay. I guess.

Faye grabbed Barry hand and proceeded to try and pull him off his chair,

Her weak attempted to get him to dance. He smiled but shook his head. His body refusing to move off the chair. Instead of putting up a fight like she normally would, intoxicated Faye rolled her eyes and made her way to the dance floor solo. She wiggled her way through the crowd. She kept moving through until she found an isolated space. Her hips swayed in them with the music, her eyes completely closed. Her hands roamed lightly on her body. She was to amerced in her escape that she didn't see some men quaking at her. It wasn't long till she felt someone grab her gently from behind and dance with her. Unfortunately for her, when she opened her eyes, it wasn't who she wanted. Fortunately, he was good looking, easy on the eyes without a doubt. Tall, short dark-haired, strong jaw with a light beard and broad shoulders. He had kind blue eyes and a dazzling smile. They walked off the dance floor going somewhere to talk. They talked, laughed, flirted until he had to leave but not before he gave her his number and a promise to have dinner.

Back at the table, Barry glared heatedly at the guy that was dancing with Faye. Caitlin and Cisco exchanged knowing looks.

"Barry? Barry? Yo, Barryyy?" Cisco clicked his fingers in his friends face getting his attention. Barry shook his head out of his daze.
