Part 17 (Final Chapter)

You stood there in the door way of the guest bedroom as you watched Calum sleep, he told you how he has been so stressed lately, How he couldn't do it anymore, how he needed to see you and that he needed to see you right away, he told you that he had been traveling to your place for hours, By taxi's and walking and how he was exhausted but how he didn't care and he just needed to see you, You could smell the alcohol on him as soon as you opened the door for him this morning and you knew it was just the alcohol that was making him feel and do the things he was feeling and doing.

"Took him long enough." You Matt whispers as he leans against the wall next to you.
"I bet A long time ago that he would show up at the door looking for you, I just didn't think it would take ten months." He adds, You shake your head and roll your eyes as you shut the door and walk off to the kitchen, where Jenny was sat on her computer.
"I have to leave for work, Can you make sure he's up soon and has something to eat." You ask Matt.
"Do you want me to feed it to him too?" He asks sarcastically and you hit his arm as you reach for your purse.
"I will." Jenny says as she gives Matt a glare and you thanked her.

When you got into your car you called up Luke and told him that Calum was with you and you explained everything to him, Luke apologized and told you that they would be there tomorrow because management canceled interviews and photo shoots they had for the next two days due to Calums disappearance, Mikey thanked you as he took the phone from Luke, He said he wasn't really looking forward to the busy schedule for the next two days.

As you showed up to work you knew it was going to be a long and rough day, You were exhausted and all you could think about was Calum, You thought back to how different he looked now, His hair was short, He had a couple of new tattoos, He was a bit more muscular but his face looked thinner and he looked tired, Sad too., You had hoped that those months that had passed with out you there would help him get over you easier but you thought wrong, You had even noticed last night when you helped him to bed that he had your engagement ring hanging on a chain around his neck. You snapped out of your thoughts when you noticed your boss walking over to you.
"Hey, you still haven't sent those prints in." Your boss says as she walks up and leans against your desk.
"Oh.. Right! Sorry.." You say as you turn to your computer.
"Just sent them." You say with a smile and she nods her head.
"You okay? You seem a bit distracted." She says.
"Yeah... I'm fine.." You say with a fake smile, She looks at you for a second, waiting for the actual truth but you just gave her a more realistic smile.
"Okay.." She says as raises an eyebrow, still not really believing you, she walks off and your smile soon fades.

Through out the day you felt yourself getting more tired by the minute and you just really wanted to go home and sleep although you weren't to excited to have to deal with Calum and the awkwardness that was going to be surrounding the two of you.
On your way home you recieved texts from Jenny and Matt, Letting you know they were going out for dinner, You rolled your eyes and felt a bit left out and a little annoyed that they were going to be leaving you alone with calum but you really didn't mind due to your exhaustion.

As you walked in you noticed most of the lights were out except for the kitchen.
"Calum?" You yell out as you set your things down on the table next to the door.
"In here!" He yells back, As you walk through the kitchen door you notice the table set with flowers in the middle, Wine glasses filled with wine and plates of food on either side of the table and candles scattered around the kitchen and some music play on the radio that was sat on the counter, Calum was dressed in a dark navy blue button down with a black bow tie and black jeans and his vans, And all you could think about is how horrible you look in just your tshirt and shorts, He was sat at the table but soon got up and grabbed your hand as he walked you over to your seat, he pulled the chair out and sat you down and walked over back to his spot.
"I wish i knew about this, I would have dressed nicer." You say with an awkward smile.
"No need, You always look beautiful in whatever you wear." He says.
