Everything was enveloped in a dark silence, the steps of the approaching child painfully loud against the tiled marble floors of the long hall. She spun the dust covered blade in her hand, a sadistic smirk on her face. In her other hand, she held a silk pouch, and she shook the contents in front of her, teasing the enemy she slowly grew nearer to. She knew what she had done, and...she didn't care. She was going to kill them. She was going to kill them all. No matter how many times she died.

"Before we begin again, I have a question for you, Sans..." The girl's voice sent shivers down her own spine, but the skeleton in front of her didn't move as she approached, his eye sockets narrowed in disappointment and anger. The girl stopped a few feet in front of him.

"Just give up, kid. We've done this so many times. I won't let you pass." The skeleton growled. The child grinned darkly.

"Didn't you hear me? I said I have a question for you!" She repeated, taking a step forward, her soul resonating and floating in front of her. Sans ground his teeth, glaring at his brother's killer.

"Fine. What do you want?" He snarled. The girl chuckled slightly.

"I wanted to know, before I kill you, if you wanted see your brother again?" She wondered, her voice soft and dark. Sans couldn't help himself. He knew of the girl's games, of her tricks and cruelty. He'd already killed her eleven times, and he was fully prepared to do it again, but... The girl laughed maniacally at his hesitation, opening the contents of the silk pouch into her hand. The silvery dust was soft and grainy to the touch, and she rubbed it with her finger, her eyes glowing red. Sans' eye shone blue and his face contorted in agonized anger. Bones of all sizes and massive gaster blasters charging their energy floated into the air around the skeleton, but the girl didn't seem to care. She grinned sadistically and stepped forward. She blew the dust off her hand, right into Sans' face.

"See you in hell, Sans."

The dream shattered with a horrified scream that called Toriel into the child's room. Frisk's face was streaked with tears, her heart racing, horror in her eyes. Toriel sat down on the bed beside her and pulled her into her arms.

"Oh, my poor child. Come here, Frisk, it's alright. You're alright. Everything is alright..." She comforted.

"P-Papyrus...S-Sans..." The child tried to say, but her breathing was still panicked, and she could almost feel the dust in her hand. Toriel hushed her gently.

"Shh... Papyrus is fine, and so is Sans. You have nothing to fear. Everyone is here, everyone is fine." The motherly monster insisted. Frisk took in a deep breath, held it for a moment, then released it slowly. She pulled away from her mom and smiled slightly.

"Thanks, Mom, but...that's not quite true. Not everyone is here." Toriel furrowed her eyebrows.

"What do you mean, my child?" She wondered. Frisk shook her head and stood up off her bed.

"Nothing, Mom. Sorry to wake you. I'm going to go for a walk." She informed her.

"At such an early hour?" Frisk gave her a reassuring smile.

"I just need to get some fresh air. Don't worry, I can take care of myself." Toriel smiled in return.

"Of course, my child. Just...be careful, alright?" Frisk gave her a quick hug before pulling away again.

"I will. Besides, if I run into any trouble, I'll give you or Undyne a call. I'll see you later, Mom!" The she ran out of the house, guilt piercing her chest. She didn't like lying to Toriel, but the gentle goat couldn't learn the truth about her son, and Frisk was afraid that if she told her what she did every day, the topic would come up, and until the time came that Frisk had finally saved her brother, she, Sans, Alphys, and Asriel were the only ones who knew what was going on...

A/N: Don't know how that turned out...tell me what you think! Honestly, I'm not very happy with it, but oh well! I'll howl to you later!
