He Killed me and I Haunt him

Chapter 8

Tyler Simmons P.O.V.

I saw what he did.

He had lost control before it had even started.

I was walking through the forest next to the road just minding my own business when I heard footsteps coming up the road.

Two pairs of footsteps.

I walked to the edge of the forest and looked out down the road behind a tree.

Taylor Jones was walking home with out the knowledge of a vampire following her.

I don't blame her.

She doesn't have advanced hearing like I do.

She's just human.

They walk closer until their just in front of me.

The vampire sneaks up closer, his eyes red with thirst.

She turns around just before he pounces for her throat.

I tried to shift but for some reason I couldn't be able to do it.

By the time I had she was dead and staring right at me.

And a white glowing light appeared just a few inches away from the girl's body.

It was bright and hard to see with out being blinded.

The light slowly began to form into shape.

A shape of a human girl.

And once that light was just shimmering.

I saw what she was.

She was an Innocent.

A human being who has just died and become an angel.

Only to become a full fledged angel, they have to finish a task they didn't even know they started.

Her voice was strong yet quiet.

She faced the vampire and shouted at him.

A minute later a storm suddenly formed near by her.

It disappeared a second after she realized something.

Then suddenly the vampire talked to her only to disappear after saying he was sorry.

But he wasn't the only one who had.

The girl had gone with him.

Two days later I saw her again, at school with the vampire.

She had closed her locker with out even touching it and he had held her hand with out even slipping through her.

When she cried, the tear had made the floor wet, before disappearing.

I only knew so little about her and what an Innocent was.

And what was even more weird was the fact that no one could see her, but me and the vampire.

But someone proved me wrong.

Mark had seen her before freaking out.

And he wasn't a vampire or like me.

He was just a human.

Or was he?
