He Killed me and I Haunt him
Chapter 2
"You. Killed. Me."
Those were the last words my body spoke before it died.
I knelt beside it trying to remember how the boy killed me, only I can't.
The boy still stands there a few feet away with shock plastered to his face.
I try to piece together everything from the point of my death to now.
But I can't.
Everything goes fuzzy when I get to the point of finding the boy following me.
I start to cry only to find there are no tears.
Bring my hand up to my face and wave it there.
It becomes blurry then when stopped see-through.
I don't get what I am, I can only guess.
I look over to the boy and then to my empty body.
My soulless body.
I speak to the boy, "Why did you kill me?"
I turn to him and stand looking him in the eyes.
He starts stuttering a little bit, "I-I don't know. I couldn't keep c-control of it."
"Control of what? How did you kill me? How did I die?"
He becomes confused and keeps silent trying to choose his words carefully.
"What am I? Who are you? How did I die?"
He shakes his head and keeps silent.
"ANSWER ME!!!" I yell at him through the wind that's suddenly picked up.
The clouds turn gray and lighting starts in between them.
The wind becomes more deadly and thunder starts to help the lightning.
I look at the clouds above me and can't believe what I'm seeing.
Their all forming above the boy and me and there's no stopping it.
I'm the cause of this storm above us.
I look back at him and rain drops fall from above.
They don't land on me but through me.
My anger subsides and sadness takes place.
The wind is the first to settle down, then lightning and thunder, and finally the clouds.
I look back at the boy realizing that he's moved closer to me.
He takes a few more steps towards me and says to me, "I-I don't know what to say. It just happened. I'm sorry."
That's when he leaves.
There's nothing but a blur when he leaves and before he's completely gone I grab hold.
