I know this girl named Ana
She's so perfect and it's true
I'm so fat compared to her
But she'll make me skinny too
chapter three
"What are you doing?" Ana asked me with wide eyes while I took out a chocolate bar from my lunch box. She ran up to me and took it away from me. "Do you know how many calories are in that thing?" I shook my head. "Of course you don't or you wouldn't be eating this without feeling guilty."
She grabbed my arm and led me to the restroom. She made me stand in front of a mirror.
"Do you see that?" She asked pointing to my reflection. "That's how a loser looks like. And I know you're not a loser, Maya. You're a winner."
The girl on the mirror looked terrible. She looked fat. Her legs were fat. Her tummy was fat. Her arms were fat. Her face was fat. Everything in her was fat. Ana was right. I looked like a loser.
I didn't want to be that girl who was staring back at me in the mirror. I wanted to be skinny and perfect...like Ana.
I turned my head to look at her. She raised one eyebrow as if asking me Are you ready to do this?
"I'll do anything to make the girl in the mirror go away." I stated and looked down at my feet. My feet were the only thing in my body that didn't look fat.
"That's what I'm talking about." She smirked and gave me a hug, whispering in my ear "That's how a winner sounds like."
