Chapter 8: The Glass Shatters

Haley POV

We found out that we don't have to go to school for this week since that fight happened. Aly came home yesterday and everything is now sorted out. Today is Tuesday and Aly and I are leaving tomorrow to go to New York. So I decided to have Austin come over today. I'm afraid of how Aly might react. She was always saying how mad she would be of he ever tried to come back onto my life. Aly is at Evans right now with Bree, so I'm hoping they will get back after Austin leaves. I feel bad for hiding this from her, but I'm scared of what she will say.

I was now hiding behind the couch in the living room. I threw Austin's football into the the pool. He wasn't really thinking when he leaned over the edge to take out of the pool. I couldn't help but give him a push. When he came above water he had a shocked face. When I saw him start to get out of the pool, I ran for it. So here I am behind the couch hiding from Austin.

Where was he? I have been sitting here for like five minutes. Then suddenly I felt to hands grab around my waist!

"Austin let go of me!" I shouted at him while trying to keep a strait face and not laugh. Then he started tickling me! I then lost it and burst out laughing.

"You pushed me in the pool! And then you ran away from me. You could have at least come in with me!" Austin said while still tickling me.

"Ok...hahaha..I know..it was mean... But please....s..s..stop!" I tried to say in between laughs. Then he stopped tickling me and looked down at me.

"Even?" I asked him.

"Hell no." Is all Austin said before he picked me up and put me over his shoulder heading in the direction of the pool. No! This is one of my favorite shirts! It's my Luke Bryan shirt!

"Austin if you throw me in the pool with my Luke Bryan shirt on, I am going to kill you!" I yelled at him. He didn't stop he just kept walking.

"I will bye you a knew shirt babe" he said and then threw me into the pool. I can't believe he did that! When I came back up I look up to see Austin taking his shirt off. Let me tell you. He. Has. Abs. I had to sink my head under the water again to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

When I came back up Austin jumped in the pool. When he came above the water he swam over to me and grabbed me by the waist. I wrapped my legs around his waist and put my forehead against his.

That's when I heard it.

Glass shattering.

I looked up and saw Alysa standing by the pool and a broken water glass on the ground. Oh shit!

Jordan POV

Austin told me that Aly came back. It's like a big weight was lifted off my shoulders. I'm so glad she is safe. I guess the girls are going to New York tonight for the weekend. I'm going with because Evan doesn't want to be the only guy there. Austin said he didn't know if he was going yet. He said it depended on if Haley tells Aly about them being together. That won't go over to well.

So I am on my over to there house. I am so nervous because Aly doesn't know I'm coming. I hope she doesn't mind. I need to tell her how I feel but when I talk to her I either tease her about something or loose my train of thought. But there is a dance in about a week, so I will tell her then if I haven't already. You have to have a date to go. I decided to ask Alysa to go with me. Bree said that no one has asked her yet.

My car goes through the gates and pulls up in front of there house. I see Aly sitting on the steps alone. I got out of the car with my black under armor bag.

"Hey Aly." I say to her. She looks up and smiles at me. My mind started to have a party because I got her to smile!

"Hey Jordan. I was waiting for you to get hear." She said to me. Hmmm. I thought she didn't know I was coming?

"How did you know I coming over here. Evan said that they didn't tell you?" I asked her.

"Yah. There a lot of things people don't seem to want to tell me. They told me about ten minutes ago. So I came out hear to get some air and wait for you." She said. I noticed how her voice became cold when she mentioned that people don't tell her things.

"Well follow me. We can put your bag in the car. Everyone else's is already on it." I followed her down another driveway that lead to there huge garage. There was a limo sitting outside with the trunk open, and a second smaller limo with the trunk open.. I put my bag in the trunk of the smaller limo and shut it. I look over at Aly to catch her smiling and looking at me.

When she noticed me looking she blushed and then turned away. I heard some other people laughing and looked over to see Evan, Bree, Haley, Trevor, and Austin walking towards us.

Trevor walks over to the other limo and shuts the trunk.

"Alright everyone in the car. We have a long drive to the cities." Aly said to everyone.

"Why is there two limos, Aly?" Haley asked. Aly's face became sad and hurt looking when hearing Haley's question.

"I'm going to ride in a separate car to have some time to think." She said with a cold harsh voice. Things with Austin and Haley must not have went well. Everyone started to get in the limo so I started to follow them.

"Jordan?" Aly said making me look her way.

"Yah?" I asked her.

"Umm. Do want to ride in the car with me? You don't have to though. It's up to." She said in a quite voice. She wanted me to go with her!

"Yah. Sure" I said with a smile on my face. With that I got in the limo with Aly and headed to the Twin Cities...
