Aly POV:

"Come on Bree! We are going to be late!" I yell. School is at 8 and its 7:50. I'm glad 10th grade is almost over. Being an upper classmen is going to rock! Dad is already at school and Gilbert, our driver, is waiting for us in the car. My family lives in Cresco. Not many people know about this town because its meant to keep us hidden so we can have normal lives.

My family is rich because we are the owners of the famous apple company. The press is always following us wanting some drama to put on their front page. When I'm here I try to act like the world doesn't know me. It's nice having money to do whatever you want but we are still taught lessons. We don't act like spoiled rich kids. We hate doing that.

Dad and his girlfriend are usually gone but dad came back for a couple days to check up on the school. March through August are called there traveling months. The rest of the year they are mostly at home. I live with my brother Andy and my sisters Bree and Beth. Bree and Beth are actually my adopted sisters. When I was three there parents died in a house fire. We took them in and their brother and sister were sent away.

I also have my half sister Clair that lives across the street with her mom and brother. My mother was abusive when I was little and my dad forced her to get help or leave. She left two days after my brother was born. He meat Heidi about five years ago and she quickly filled the role of mother. We have Gilbert who drives us anywhere we want even though I can drive. Today I didn't felt like it though. Greg is our second driver. Mia is our house keeper. We used to have a nanny but about a year ago dad felt like I was old enough to take care of us. He didn't like the idea at first but I talked him into it.

Even though we have all those people to help us, we still help them with cooking and cleaning the house. We try to act as normal as we can. The older I get the more the media tries to interfere. It really sucks, but I have my friends and family to help me through it. It's hard on all of us. Anyone who lives in Cresco is known to the world.

I hear Bree come down stairs. "You wake up late again?" I ask her. "Yah. I was up late talking to Evan. His mom and dad are both gone this week and he has been having trouble sleeping." She tells me.

Usually I would be more upset but I know what it's like when both your parents are gone. We all have problems sleeping when mom and dad are gone. I'm the oldest in the house so usually I'm the one that sets rules and in force consequences. Mom actually put me in charge of doing this. It can be hard sometimes but it has to be done.

"Let's go. Beth and Andy are waiting in the car. And remember that dad is leaving at 1 today so you need to come up to the office at 12 to say goodbye." I told her. "Yah I know. I can go to Evan's tonight for dinner right?" She asked. "Yah that fine. Just be back by 8." And with that we got in the car and headed to school.

Jordan POV

I walked into school going to sit in the cafeteria to wait till we are allowed to go to our lockers. I was sitting there talking to Aaron and Sawyer when she walked in. She was so pretty. She wasn't like most girls. She wasn't afraid to stand out and let you know her opinion. She wasn't skinny as a stick like some girls but she was still thin. I loved everything about her. Her eyes get me every time. There like a hazel color but yet again there not. There dark brown around her pupil and the they get lighter towards the outside until they are bright green.

I need to stop looking at her. Last week she started to catch me looking at her. But at least she is noticing me. " You guys are dismissed!" Mr. Wiley yelled. I got up to go to my locker. I got my stuff and headed to science class. She was going to study hall today since it isn't a P.E day.

The hallway is mainly cleared out now. Suddenly I ran into someone and fell to the floor. All of my stuff scattered across the hallway along with someone else's. I looked over and saw who I ran into. It was her! I can't believe I knocked her over!

"Hey Jordan" she said. "Hi Alysa".....
