Chapter 4: The Hospital

Chapter 4

Austin POV

I was sitting in the nurses office with Haley. The nurse just started checking her over when she screamed! I looked up and I saw that Haley had a large cut on her back that was pouring blood out if it. She also started to bleed from her head! How did I miss that!? The nurse was putting pressure on her head cause it was bleeding the worst there.

"Go call 911 and then come back and help me!" She yelled at me. I knew she neaded my help and calling myself would take to much time. I ran out to the office.

"Linda! Call 911 Haley is loosing blood! We need an ambulance!" I shouted. I saw her look up with a worried expression and rush to the phone. I ran back to the nurses office. Haley was on her stomach and the nurse was still putting pressure on her head. I looked around and couldn't find a towel or cloth. I did the first thing I could think of and pulled off my shirt. I put it on her cut on her back.

It took only 5 minutes for the paramedics to get hear. But by then I was in the corner crying my eyes out. When Linda was done calling for help she came in and saw that I was practically in tears. She took my spot and that's when I needed up on the floor. Now they were carrying Haley out in a stretcher. I stood up to follow. Everyone else was eating lunch and Mr. Welton was having a hard time keeping everyone in there seats.

Bree was trying to get free from Evan's grasp. I saw the principal get in the ambulance as they were loading her in. Bree finally broke free and went running after Haley. I reached out and grabbed her right before she jumped in the ambulance. I knew they wouldn't let her in. She struggled and fought against me. Eventually she gave up and almost collapsed. I fought her and held her in my arms. I looked at Evan and signaled for him to come over. I then put Bree in his arms bridal style.

Trevor walked over to me also in tears. There was so Mach damn crying today!! Trevor had it worse than me though. It wasn't just Haley. I heard about how Aly ran off again.

"Austin. Why don't you have a shirt on?" He asked me. I looked down to realize I wasn't whereing a shirt. I forgot about that.

"I will explain later I told him. Lets just go to the hospital."I told him.

"Gilbert is here to pick up Bree, Evan, Beth, and I. You can ride with us." Trevor told me.

"Thanks." I said to him. We walked out to the car and got in. We headed in the direction of the hospital.

Aly POV

I made it. It took me about two hours, but I made it. I walked into my house that I lived in just four years ago. I grew up here and I know dad saw how hurt I was to loose it. So when he was able to buy it back I was overjoyed. I have been making plans on redecorating and updating it but I have been really busy. And now I have a fashion deal coming up. I haven't told anyone yet. Now I really can't till all this is sorted out. I have a lot to think about with the deal. I'm not sure how everyone is going to take it.

Now I'm sitting in an empty house by myself. But it's not empty. It's fulfilling in a way that only I can understand. I love it here. It's so quiet and peaceful. I think I should drink something cause I'm starting to get dizzy. I get up and grab three grape gatorads from the fridge. I have the house stocked because I never know when I want to just get away. I think I'm just going to stay here for the night and think about things. Hopefully my sisters and brothers won't worry to much...
