Grace's POV:

My screams echoed through the room as the spiders had covered my body. I choked back tears as little legs scrambled all over me. "GET OFF! GET OFF!", I scream at the top of my lungs. This is it, I thought, death by spiders. I could feel part of me slipping away as I gasped for air.
Then there was warmth. It started in my head and moved throughout my body. I suddenly felt like I could do anything. I jolted up as the bronze jars began to crack, so did the other teenagers. The nightmares were finally ending.I smashed my fists on the bronze surface and the jars shattered.
I walked out of the rubble, untouched. I slowly walked towards the others. They stared at me with wide-eyed expressions.
I reached out my hand to the closes person. That happened to be the blonde haired boy with the multicolored eyes. "How did you do that?", he said as I helped him up. I shrugged and held out my hand for the girl with icy blue eyes. She just nodded, standing up by herself.
After the other boys were pulled out of the rubble, we tried to find a way out. As I was looking around, I found... pegasus?! I extended my hand through the bars of the cage, rubbing on of the horse's velvety nose. What is going on here?!, I thought, Am I hallucinating?
The horses neighed loudly. "I'm going to get you guys out of there.", I promised as I traced my finger over the locker. "I might be able to help you", said a voice behind me. I turned around to find the boy with the colorful eyes.
He fried the lock with electricity that seemed to just come out of his finger. He gave me a perfect smile and pulled the lock off. I retuned the smile and opened the cage door. The pegasus charged out, ready for their escape. The pegasus that I had pet early, galloped to me. It nuzzled me in the back, shoving me forward. The boy caught me, wrapping his arms around me. "Um...Thank you.", I sputtered. "You're welcome, Seabreeze!", he replied with that reward winning smile. I felt my insides turned to mush, but I wasn't about to let him know that.
"Seabreeze? Why would you call me that?" I questioned.
He replied, "Because of the way the water churned in my jar right before it broke. It smelled salty for a moment."
"If we are on the nickname thing then I'm going to call you......Golden Boy!,"I said with a laugh. His face turned slightly red, but he continue to smile.
The pegasus came towards me again, his mouth seemed to be curved into a smile. I stroked his beautiful amber colored wings that seemed to shimmer in the light. "I think we found away out of here.", Golden Boy stated the obvious. Suddenly, a loud noise came from behind us. I turned to see the girl and the two boys being chased by....birds? Golden Boy quickly boosted me up on to my pegasus and scrambled on to another. The other teenagers jumped on to some other pegasus and we took off into the air. Our pegasus climbed high and high into the air in till we were almost touching the ceiling of the cave.
We rounded a corner to be confronted by the huge door that was our only way out. I braced myself for pain, but it never came. I watched the boy with caramel hair create a fire ball in his hand and launch it. It spiraled towards the door, burning a whole straight through it. My pegasus folded in it's wings in as we spun through the hole that had just been created. The crazy birds that were chasing us weren't so lucky. They all slammed into the wood of the door, getting their razor sharp beaks stuck into it.
We were just about to celebrate when a hydra appeared, blocking out way out. "Is that thing real?", I screamed over the hydra's roars. "As real as me.", replied Golden Boy. How do I know your real?, I thought to myself with a sign. No one seemed to pay attention to my uncertainty thou. They were all busy pulling out...weapons? The boy with dark skin had a bow in hand with a quiver draped on his back, the girl had a pair of wickedly sharp knives, the other boy had a fairly large hammer in his hand, and Golden Boy had a golden sword (of course he did).
"Get out your weapon!", the boy with dark skin instructed. "I...um...don't have one.", I sputtered. The dark skinned boy gestured to the other boy and he dug around in his tool belt for a few minutes then threw a bronze sword at me. Trying not to cut myself, I caught it. "Everyone ready?", asked the dark skinned boy, clearly he was the leader. Everyone nodded. He raised his bow above his head and bellowed,"Charge!" Here goes nothing., I thought to myself.
