Grace's POV:
"Honey, I've got to make this quick.", said a voice that I've sworn I've heard before, "You must realize the potential you have. It all starts with the widows to the soul." I opened my eyes to see a women that looked like me except she was older and had stormy gray eyes. "You must free us and them; it is your destiny.", she continued," We never knew what we were getting our selves into when we agreed to check it out. We wouldn't have gone if we had known we wouldn't return for many years." This just keeps getting stranger and stranger. I tried to open my mouth but found I couldn't.
"Oh dear! Our time is almost done.", she suddenly said. "Remember, family come first and you have the potential to be great.", she said as she faded away.
"I cant believe I never noticed this , but you drool on your sleep.", said a familiar voice. It's a family trait, I thought to the unidentified voice.  My eyes fluttered open to see a girl with blonde hair and a cloud of a happy sensation seemed to float around her. It was her. It was my twin. It was Hannah.
I jumped up and wrapped my arms around her, nearly strangling her. "Hannah I thought I would never see you again.", I exclaimed. "Nether did I", mumbled Hannah under my arms.
"Sorry", I said as released her from my tight grasp. "So how have you been?", I asked her like she was a friend I haven't seen in forever. Hannah opened her mouth then closed it, "It's a long story. Maybe I could tell you tonight by the campfire and you could tell me yours." Exchanging stories does sound like a good idea.
Hannah has gotten much wiser sense I last saw her. "You could also introduce me to your friends.", Hannah says with a smile. "And you to I.", I responded.
I link arms with Hannah. "You are not ever getting away from me, never again.", I say as we walk outside.

But it wouldn't be the last time we lost each other.

Quinn's POV:

----------Earlier That Day----------

I entered the Poseidon Cabin to see Hannah laying on her bed, face first. "You back so soon?", I say as I walk over to her. "What was your meeting with the Gods about?", I ask when I'm right next to her bed. She still doesn't respond.
I felt a pang of jealousy in my chest. How could she act like this when when she got to speak with the gods? The gods!!! Most people don't even get the chance to met their parent! Like me.. I ushered away those hate filled thoughts that appeared now and then. She is your friend/sister, Quinn! You have to be there for her.
"What's wrong?", I asked sincere, "Did I do something?" The lump shook it's head from side to side. Good. She's not mad at me. "Would you like to tell me?", I asked in my most sisterly voice. She shook her head from side to side again. That's it!
I flipped Hannah over, ready to see a smirking face but instead I was met by a tear filled one. "You little-", I started to say," What happened?" She mumbled a few words that I couldn't make out. "What happened?", I said a bit louder. No one messes with my friends.
"I'n mot a gouther of Faseidin.", Hannah croaked. I shook my head, What happened to Hannah? "Hannah, what happened at Olympus?", I said the "what happened" part pretty loud. "I'm not a daughter of Poseidon!", she screamed at me, her body shaking as tears fell on the bed spread.
A billion questions swarmed my mind, How can she control water? Does that mean we are not sisters? Does that mean I'm alone again?
I suddenly remember my encounter with the goddess of revenge. "You will always be lonely, my dear. You father has never looked upon you with joy, neither have the other gods. You will forever be the ninth wheel.", Nemesis had said to me on a day long ago. "You don't know anything about me!", my 7 year old self had screamed as I ran into the woods. "But my dear, I do.", crackled the revenge goddess as I ran farther and father away.
I snapped back to reality. Broken girl. Not a a daughter of Poseidon.
I blinked and opened my mouth to say something, anything. I reached my hand to comfort her when my words failed my, but she pulled away. "I'm a freak! Don't you see that!", Hannah screamed as more tears fell from her face,"I will never fit in!"
I felt something snap inside me. "Hannah, you are far from a freak! You have powers unlike some of us! You have a family that cares!", now it was my turn to cry.
After a few moments Hannah said," You don't have powers?", only the red tint to her eyes was the only notification that she had been the one to cry first. I shook my head slowly up and down. Then she did something surprising. She wrapped her long arms around me. I was startled my her embrace but did not pull away. Two broken girls...
"I think we have settled that we are both freaks.", Hannah said with a laugh. You have no idea. I snorted, trying to contain my laughter.
Hannah pointed her finger as a vase of flowers on her nightstand and 6 little bubbles of water floated out. I sat up. This kind of skill takes years to master. She flicked her finger and three bubbles joined together and the other 3 joined together. With a turn of Hannah's wrist the 2 water blobs formed into a new shape. Hannah peeled her eyes off of the new objects and let her hand fall to her side. One little water creation fell into my lap and the other floated onto Hannah's wrist, latching itself on. Friendship bracelets. I grabbed the little bracelet and fastened it on my wrist.
Hannah got up and walked towards the door. "It time for dinner.", she said as she opened the door, "Are you coming?" I looked at my new bracelet and back at her,"I think I will stay here for a bit. I'm not really hungry right now."
Quinn, you have made something today. I looked at the bracelet fastened on my wrist. You have made a close friend. In Ancient Greek was carved "We might be wandering. We might not fit in. But we are not lost. Freaks forever!" I smiled.

Author's Note:

Were you surprise I did a different point of view there? xD
I hope you liked this really long chapter (1161 words to be exact). I hope it made up for the 13 questions chapters that I've been including in this book.
