The Eyes of Medusa

Chapter 16

Grace's POV:

I awake with a jolt and a scream. Everyone in the Hermes' cabin stare at me before return back to there morning preparations.
Smooth Grace!, I tell myself sarcastically as I roll up Hannah's then my sleeping bags and shove them in a chest at the end of the few beds.
Where is Hannah anyway?!, I think angrily, She thinks she can leave anytime and expect me to clean up after her! Like what in the Hades!!!!! Suddenly the chest's lid smashes down on my hand and I say a sentence that would Mr. D to shame. But the smashing of my hand also pulled me back to reality.
I angrily throw open the chest and pull out a simple outfit that consists of ripped jeans, a reverse CHB tank top (black tank with orange logo), and black gladiator sandals. I quickly take a shower and brush my teeth and hair.
Not wanting to mess with my hair, I walk outside to meet Francis, Skyler, Charlie, Sammy and maybe, if she ever shows up, Hannah for breakfast.
As I get near the Mess Hall, I suddenly feel sick to my stomach. I turn around ,to go back to the cabin to lie down, and puke my guts out. What is happening, I think to myself, It's like my body is shutting down! I stumble around feeling nausea. My feet don't seem to work right anymore.
I suddenly get the wind sucked out of me and crash to the ground. My lungs tighten as I cough, trying to get fresh air in them.
Before my vision completely darkens, I see Francis running towards me. "Grace!", he yells.," Look at me!"
Then my eyes flutter and he is gone. "I love you Francis", I whisper before my eyes go completely shut and the world is dark.

I am so sorry that I haven't updated in forever! I've been really busy with track, school, and training.

On a better note, Summer is approaching and I will have more time to write then! Please continue reading this book!
