Chapter 48 - Distractions

Liam's POV

We had to cut our shopping trip short because three of us are flying half way across the world right now.

We were back at the house and I'm in full-blown panic mode. I paced back and forth as I processed the information.

"So let me get this straight... Zayn, Perrie, and Leigh-Anne are all on their way back to London?" I asked Louis and Jade.

They both nodded and I just shook my head. "Why? What the hell is going on? Why wouldn't they tell us? Why would they just leave without an explanation?" I asked frantically.

Jade stood up and looked angry, "I have no idea what the hell is going on with Perrie. She just said they were going back right now and that she would explain later."

"Listen to this voice mail Leigh left me." Louis said and put his phone on loudspeaker.

Leigh's voice came through clear, "Louis, listen carefully to me. I'm heading home; my flight is in 4 hours. I'm on my way back to Liam's house. Don't tell anyone right now. Please don't try and stop me. I'll explain later, I promise."

"This whole 'I'll explain later' is total bullshit. Why would they just leave? They better have a very good reason. I had to beg my parents to fly all of us here." I raised my voice.

I was getting angrier by the second. This trip was supposed to be for all of us to enjoy. I begged my parents to let everyone come this year, not just the boys. I wanted all of us to enjoy it together.

"Liam... calm down. It's going to be okay. I'm sure they all have very good reasons why they had to go." Sophia said as she grabbed onto my arm and led me back to the couch.

"Right now I'm not so sure we should all even stay here. Since we got here, it's been nothing but drama. Harry, you punched my cousin. Which I'm sure I'll get in trouble for once Luke has tattled." I explained.

"And you and Jade almost got sent to the hospital last night! Jesy and Niall were being all secretive since the beginning of this trip. Louis and Eleanor are hooking up again! Leigh kissed some random guy she barely knew. Perrie and Zayn stuck to each other like glue and I've barely spoken to you on this trip Soph." I yelled for everyone to know.

That got everyone going. There was yelling and shocked faces. "Shut up everyone!" I yelled out loud. "This isn't friendship... don't you see that? This is some stupid couples retreat that I planned without knowing." I continued.

"We were supposed to have fun and enjoy each other's company, yet all we did was stick to our partners. Which I know I am totally guilty of doing but I don't think anyone else has noticed." I said to them.

That shut them all up. "Li, we appreciate your efforts and we can't thank you enough for inviting us over here." Jade started and got up and gave me a hug.

"We're really sorry we hid our relationship from all of you. I was just scared of what you'd think because all this time I was denying my feelings for Niall, but in the end I just gave in." Jesy said and bowed her head down.

"Liam, I'm really sorry I punched Luke. I didn't mean to... he just made me so angry and I had no control of myself, you know what happens when I get angry and I'm drunk." Harry apologized and explained.

"Yes, Eleanor and I hooked up. We talked and we decided to wait until we got back to school. We wanted to make sure that what we felt wasn't just a spur of the moment. We wanted to be certain of what we felt before getting back together." Louis explained.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you boys right away when Jesy said yes. I didn't want to upset her because she wanted it to be a secret first but I should have known better. I trust you all with my life and I should have told you as soon as it happened." Niall added.
