Chapter 16 - Better Fix This Problem

Perrie's POV

I've been so out of it lately. I don't feel like doing anything anymore. Leigh needs to wake up so I can tell her how sorry I am.

I'm so thankful that Jesy stayed with me last night. I probably would have just cried all night if she wasn't here.

I wonder how Jade is holding up. Jesy said that she cut herself again.

I thought we finally got through to her. It's been awhile since she's hurt herself. I thought that everything was okay with her, I guess I thought wrong.

"Jes? Are you awake?" I turned and faced Jesy who was sleeping in Leigh's bed.

"Mhm." She mumbled and turned around to face me

"You okay Pez?" She asked as she sat up. I followed and sat up myself and faced her.

"I think so. We need to talk to Jade." I told her. She just nodded and fixed herself.

"She didn't call me to pick her up last night. I wonder where she is." Jesy said and stood up.

I followed her across the hall to her room. We saw Jade curled up in a ball on her bed.

"How did she get home?" I whispered to Jesy. She told me that Jade drove Harry home last night.

"Jadey?" Jes shook her shoulders. Jade stirred and opened her eyes.

"Where's Harry?" Was the first thing out of her mouth.

"He's not here Jade. How did you get home last night?" Jesy asked her.

Jade sat up and looked at us. Her eyes looked tired and she huge bags under them.

"I drove Harry here last night because he didn't want to go home last night." She said and got up.

She went to go fix her bed and she saw a piece of paper peeking out under her pillow.

Thank you for taking care of me last night Jade. I appreciate all your efforts but I told Liam that I would stay away from you no matter how badly I don't want to. Goodbye Jade.

Jade read the letter out loud. She sat back down on her bed and crumpled up the piece of paper

"Jade what happened last night?" Jesy said as she sat beside Jade. I took the other seat beside her and put my arm around her.

"Harry told me he really liked me but he needed to back off because Liam likes me too." She said.

"If you like him and he likes you why does he need to back off because of Liam? You don't like Liam, you like him." I told her.

"Harry's last girlfriend became his girlfriend because Liam backed off. So Harry thinks he owes Liam." She explained.

"Well would you ever like Liam?" Jesy asked her. Jade shook her head.

"After what Harry told me, I won't ever like Liam. So I don't know why Harry is still pushing me away." She said.

"That's it. I'm going over there. They can't keep hurting you like this Jade. It's not right." I said and headed to my room to get ready before they can stop me.

I don't even care if I have to skip school for this. Those boys are causing us too much trouble.

I headed out to their house and when I got there I rang the doorbell and I impatiently waited for someone to open the door.
