Zayn's POV

"Zayn! Perrie!" Dot said and ushered us to a table quickly. "Zayn, I heard you got into some trouble last night. Jade and Harry had to leave early. Are you alright dear?" She asked me.

"Don't worry Dot, I'm alright." I said with a laugh. Dot looked out for all of us and we loved having that mother figure around.

"Good to hear! What can I get you two?" She smiled widely. Perrie and I placed our orders and Dot left to go get our food.

"Okay, let's get to know each other better." I told her. She gave me a wide smile. "How many siblings do you have?" She asked.

My brain immediately went to Doniya, I hope she's doing alright. "I have one older sister, Doniya and two younger sisters, Waliyha and Safaa." I told her.

"Aww, that's so cute. You're the only boy!" She said. I just laughed at her. "What about you?" I asked her.

"I have an older brother named Jonnie and then a younger half-sister called Caitlyn." She smiled. I just nodded.

That means her parents are split. I wonder what it's like... I guess I'll find out soon enough considering my dad's already moved out.

I have to call mum later on and ask how she is and how Doniya is doing. Soon enough Dot came out with our food and we dug in.

I can't believe how hungry I was. I shouldn't have skipped lunch today. Perrie looked up at me and started laughing, "Slow down there." I just shrugged and kept eating.

"Favourite colour?" I asked her. "Blue, yours?" She asked. I thought about it for a second, "I don't really have one, I like them all." I told her.

"Only artistic people tell me that." She told me. "Well, I draw during my free time." I shrugged. I wasn't the best drawer, but I wasn't that bad either.

"Can I see some of your drawings?" She asked me. I don't really let anyone see what I draw, except for the boys but she asked so nicely.

"Sure, when we get to the house I can pull a few old ones out." I told her. She smiled and finished the rest of her food.

"Do you play any sports?" I asked her. "No, not really. Not much of an athlete." She laughed.

"What do you like to do when you're bored then?" I asked her. "Um... I sing? The girls and I sing together all the time. We've competed in little competitions a few years back, but we've given that up." She blushed.

"Have you won any?" She nodded, "Yeah, we've won a couple times." She smiled and her eyes just lit up.

"You must be good then." I smiled. She laughed at that, "Not really." She shook her head. There was a moment of silence where neither of us talked.

"This is weird..." She said. "What is?" I asked her. "Us not arguing. I felt better when we hated each other." She told me. "Seriously?" I asked and she just nodded her head at me.

"You just don't want to be friends with me." I said. "No! It's not that, it's just that I'm used to us hating each other." She replied with a shy smile.

I glanced at my phone to see what time it was and it was half past 5 already. We better head home. I looked down at our plates and noticed that we were both finished eating.
