Chapter 9

Melody's POV

I laid on my bed an sobbed for a long time. I'm pretty sure some one saw me. But I can't worry about that right now. I need to find Shadow. I checked the time. 4:00pm alright I'll just... Track him with my magic. I wiped away my tears and started to track Shadow. What?! I love him and I want to protect him!! I saw him sitting on a bench in Ponyvile. I quickly teleported to him. I teleported a good distance away. I started walking towards him. I sat down next to him. "Wha- Melody?! What the hell do you want?!" He semi yelled. "Shadow... Is it alright if we just talk about things??" I ask as politely as I could. "Why?! I don't want to speak to you!" Hearing him say these things still hurt. "Please Shadow.. You won't ever have to talk to me again after this I promise." I pleaded to him. "FINE!! But you better make it quick!!" "Thank you Shadow.." "Yeah yeah just talk already.." I began to speak. "Look Shadow, I finally understand why you hate me so much. But you misunderstood what happened. Please let me show you..." I say as I trail off. "What?!-" before he could continue I touched his head with my horn. This would show him my last memory. Once the memory was finished I pulled away.  He looked up at me in utter disbelief. "It...it was....it was my fault.....I'm the reason you turned into that....that thing.....and....all this time....I've hated you for something you didn't even do....I'm.....I'm....IM SO SORRY!!" He screamed out. He began to cry. I pulled him into a hug. He actually let me hug him. He then wrapped his arms around me. He hugged back!! "I forgive you and I'm so sorry that I treated you like total shit for most of our past!" "I forgive you to Shadow. Don't worry I will always love you the same!" I said as I began to tear up as well. We at like this for a while. I cradled him in my arms and rocked him back and forth like a baby. And he let me. I did this while she was silently crying into my shoulder. After about 30 minuets he fell asleep. I flew him back to go house and left him a note.

Dear Shadow,
I'm glad that we have forgiven each other. You fell asleep so I thought that I would bring you back to your house. I love you and I will see you later. <3

After I was done writing the note I flew back to my house to think really hard. I began to cry again when I thought about what Link did. About what he said. I then realized why. Oh no... I know what he saw....he saw the texts....Thats why....

(Melody): Hey Summer it's Melody. Um I need advice.....I don't know what to do, um I have a huge crush on Misty and she wants I date me but I'm already dating Link. I really like Link and I really like Misty. I don't know what to do. Should I break up with Link? But that'll break his heart! And what if binding date Misty? That'll break her heart! Ugh! I don't know what to do! Can you help me please?

(Melody): Hello??

(Summer): Um hey I uh...I can't talk right now....I'm...uhhh... I'm busy! Bye!!

(Melody): Alright

He must have been at Summers when I sent the text and he some how saw it!! I already turned Misty down but in a friendly way. She understood which I was very thankful for. I decided that my heart belongs to Link and only Link. No one else. I love him deeply. I need to apologize to him an explain. I hope he understands that he is the only one I love......
