Chapter Eight: The First Task and Other Things

In the morning, Ron told me how Harry was in their common room talking to himself, "-But I know that someone was in there.: He finished I frowned telling him, "Well Ron you two are not exactly on good terms." "Yeah but still." He started to say but then I ask him, "So what are we going to do about Harry?" "What about him?" He grumbled. "Ron!" He sighed then said, "I don't know? You're the one who's focus on him." I frowned getting up telling him before leaving, "What if it was one of your brothers or even your sister that was competing in this thing?!" On Monday I was talking to Cedric who mention to me that Harry told him some important information about the competition. I smiled but the next day which was the day of the task I entered the tent scared. Inside I saw the champions talking to their friends I even saw Jorden talking to the Beauxbatons champion, I saw Cedric talking to some other hufflepuffs and a ravenclaw girl, Victor Krum was talking to Hermione and a few other boys from his school when I finally I found Harry he looked really nervous as I approached him calling his name he turned his head then said, "I didn't know that you were coming." I hugged him hard once I opened for some space I asked him, "What's your plan? Is it safe? What dragon did you get?" Questions kept spurting out of my mouth faster then he could answer them suddenly he hugged me telling while laughing a bit, "You sound more nervous than I do. I smiled hugging him back then he said, Don't worry,Tiger. It's going to be alright." I smiled then wished him luck I then saw Hermione heading towards him. I went to my seat next to the twins after a bit I saw Hermione walk in frowning she sat next to Ron. I watch them anxiously, worried for Harry. The twins must of notice me because they told me, "Hey Tiger, It's going to okay." Said Fred. "Yeah, knowing Harry he's been through worst." I started to get more nervous suddenly it was his turn. The twins thens said, "It's going to be alright, Tiger." "I hope so." I muttered while watching him. It was going good until the dragon broke free and Harry was out of sight I then panic trying to chase after him but the twins held me back then what like forever Harry appeared snaching one of the eggs and the handlers put the dragon back where it came from. I was so relived I ran to the medical tent as soon as saw him I hugged Harry. He smiled, apologizing for scaring me. "Are you okay?" I asked him worried. "Yeah,I'm fine." Ron then came in saying, "Hey." "Hi." Harry said back. Ron took a deep breath then said, "Look i'm sorry that I didn't took this seriously and thought that you cheated until today. Can you forgive me?" Harry looked at him then told him, "I forgive you mate." I was so happy for them after getting the clear we went to look at the scores,Ron's brother,Charlie, told us that Harry and Victor Krum are tied for first place then on my way castle, I saw Hermione and Fred talking I then Hermione walked towards me asking me, "Hey Tiger do you mind coming with me to the kitchens?" "Uh sure but I-Where are they?" I asked confused then the twins snuck up behind me telling me, "And before we forget you and your cousin are invited to the Griffindor victory party." Said George that was followed by Fred who said, "Yeah I bet it will be better then the Hufflepuff one. Do the hufflepuffs even have parties?" Asked Hermione I then said,"Knock it off you guys." "Oh yeah, sorry Tiger." They told me I sighed then said, "It's okay just don't do it again." After I told them that I went to my cousin's room. I knocked on his door I could faintly hear him say, "Come in." I opened the door, "Hey Jorden, Are you coming to the Griffindor victory party?" "No." Surprised I asked, "Why not? I thought you loved parties and I bet Fred and George snuck in some good food and drinks from the kitchen. Come on, it'll be fun." He turned his chair towards me then screamed, I already said no Tiger, now get lost! Besides I have better things to do then hang out with a bunch a dumbass kids." I then grew angry yelling back, "Like what? Sit up here and rot?! You know, it wouldn't kill you to get out more!" He then stood up and yelled even more, "You know what? You're becoming a damn brat!" "Well,I see that your parenting skills does wonders on me." "Go to hell!" He screamed at me then I said this and left, "Great, because i'll see you there!" After running away I then starting crying out of frustration and sadness. What's going on with our relationship? I kept thinking as I sobbed but unknowns to me someone was watching me the entire time.

                                                             Cedric's POV

I was walking down the hallway to get the Hufflepuff house when I saw someone lying on the floor. I quickly ran to them thinking that they were hurt but to my surprise and horror it was Tiger Hohnsen. I kneeled next to her shaking her, "Tiger? Tiger wake up." I said to her hoping that she was okay. She finally stirred, "Are you alright, Tiger?" I asked noticing that her eyes were red and puffy she then sat up telling me, "Not really." While shaking her head. "Do you want to talk about it?" I asked while sitting next to her she the looked at me with a sigh then said, "Alright but please don't tell anyone what I said." "I promise." I told her then she told me about how herself and her cousin got into a really horrible fight. When she finished I then told her, "Maybe he snapped out of stress? He is kinda new to this job and wanted to work on some papers instead of party." She smile a bit and said, "Yeah, maybe your right? Thank you for talking to me." I smiled back, "Glad I can help. You know I heard that the Griffindors throw amazing parties, is that true?" I asked curiously she laughed then told me, "Come on maybe we can thow our own grand party." I smiled at the idea then we headed to the Hufflepuff house.

                                                                           Tiger's POV

The next day I told him that I was sorry I then think our relationship became a bit little better. During December in Hagrid's care of magical creators class the same blonde and odd glasses wearing woman from before came to talk to him. From what I heard she was banned from the Hogwarts grounds at dinner I notice that Hermione never showed up for dinner, worried I followed Ron and Harry to their common room where Hermione suddenly appeared wanting to take us to the kitchens. While we were there Harry saw an old friend of his, Dobby, a house elf he freed from the Malfoy's. When Harry and the others were distracted by Winky another house elf that had gotten fired from her old master, Dobby asked me, "Excuse me miss but are the rumors that Dobby hears master say alone are true? Are you really related to Harry Potter?" I was surprise that he knew, at first I was going to lie to him and say no but then I realized that I couldn't so I told him the truth. I then had him promise to keep this a secret he did but also swore to protect me along with Harry with his life. I told him he didn't have to but he insisted so I told him with a small smile, "That all you needed to do is your best." He hugged me I hugged back but sadly we had to go. I told him that I promise to visit him and the other house elves as well, After that I went to bed.
