Bad Boy Works On A Farm

Chapter 3

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Time to start another day. I groaned but then remembered I had to practically babysit Adrian on the farm today! And of course Alex being the asshole of a brother he is Won't help.

Speaking of Alex I've got to ask him when his and Annie's date is and I have to help her look drop-dead gorgeous for him. I'm actually happy for them. They would look cute together. My brothers out-going crazy personality and Annie's shy and modest one.

I quickly did my morning routine and went downstairs where everyone was sitting down at breakfast. My whole family looked up and ready except Adrian. He looked like a zombie. I giggled quietly.

"Morning everyone!"

"Good morning!" They all replied back enthusiastically except for once again Adrian. He sort if murmured it.

"Hey Adrian you might want to go wash your face and stuff. You look like you died."

He scowled at me.

"Mind your own business princess."

Ah there's the Adrian I know. Looks like he's bipolar.

"No offense but are you bipolar by any chance?"

He gave me a look that screamed "WTF" and I just shrugged. My mom scolded me.

"Honey that's not very nice!"

"Sorry..."

His smirk returned and I felt like slapping it off his face. I just met him and he irritated me so much already! I finished my breakfast and waited for Adrian. After he was done we both walked outside and walked to the fields.

"Okay. So we'll start with watering and pulling the weeds from the plants alright?"

He nodded and we got to work. The field was 5 acres so it took us a about 4 hours. After we were done we went to the barn to feed the animals, collect eggs, and milk the cows. We had 10 horses, 8 chickens, 9 cows that my brother was supposed to bring back to the barn soon, and 3 goats. We quickly have the horses hay and fed the rest of the animals in the barn. After that we collected eggs and my brother brought the cows back and I showed Adrian how to milk them. When we finished I sighed.

"Well that's all we has to do today because my mom already walked all the horses except Diamond which is my horse so I'm gonna go ride her and you can relax."

He smiled at me.

"Actually I was wondering if I could go with you? Maybe take the black horse I took yesterday for a ride again?"

"Sure and his name is Midnight."

"Good to know."

We walked to the horses and I saddled Diamond. Adrian was done too so we got on and went to the waterfall again. When we got there the sun was not setting yet so we rode around for a bit and then came back. We got off our horses and I walked to the edge of the little hill. I sat down and felt Adrian's presence beside me. I turned to look at him but he was already staring at me. My cheeks blushed red.

"Uh, why are you looking at me like that?"

"Like what?"

"I don't know... Like in a deep in thought kind of way."

"Because you're gorgeous Princess."

I blushed even harder.

"Adrian why are you so sweet sometimes and then so..."

"So what?"

"Arrogant, mean, conceited..."

He laughed.

"I guess it's how I am... Wanna play twenty questions?"

"What's that?"

Of all my 18 years I've never heard of that. Adrian gaped at me.

"No way! You don't know what twenty questions is?!"

"Nope."

"Do you have any friends?"

"Yeah my best friend Annie an my brother and I guess you?"

I asked it as a question but he just kept gaping at me.

"That is sad."

"So just because I'm not a social butterfly doesn't mean anything."

"Yeah but you're a girl! You have to have friends!"

"Whatever! Just explain what the hell 20 questions is."

"Ok so I ask you a question and you have to answer it honestly and then You do the same to me."

"Oh that sounds interesting. Lets play. You can start."

"Okay, are you a virgin?"

My cheeks burned red.

"Do I have to answer that?"

"Yes."

"Ok I..."
