Chapter 14

*3 MONTHS LATER*

I woke up to my phone alarm and got up to make breakfast. I was so used to this routine by now it was normal. Get up, make breakfast, wake up Adrian, go to work. I quickly got dressed into my skinny jeans and a long sleeved top. It was october already so it wasn't very warm anymore. I walked into the kitchen and started making coffee and sandwiches. I felt arms wrap around my waist from behind and a sexy voice whisper in my ear.

"Good morning princess."

I turned around and kissed Rian.

"Good morning bad boy. i'm surprised you have woken up, usually I have to yell at you until you finally make a sound."

He grinned at me.

"Maybe I'm feeling like it's going to be a good day today."

I rolled my eyes at him and gave him 3 sandwiches and his coffee. I sat down across from him at the table and ate my sandwich.

"So what are we going to sing today at the club?"

"I don't know. What about that one song called "The Way" by Arianna Grande and Mac Miller?"

"Sure why not."

We had regular gigs at some local clubs so we worked at the cafe during the day and sang during the night. Life was pretty good. I finished my sandwich and Rian finished his. We got up, got dressed into our cafe work clothes, and walked out together to the cafe. It wasn't very close but we liked taking walks in the morning so we did. Once we got to the cafe we quickly started working. I started greeting customers and Adrian made the drinks.

Once we had a good amount of customers in the cafe I nodded at Adrian and he put his iphone into the speakers. I watched him press shuffle and one of my favortie songs came on. It was the karaoke version of "World at our feet" by Joe Brooks. I started wiping the tables and singing with Adrian. He started the first verse.

Then it was my turn.

Adrian walked up to me and took my hand and we started singing together.

We walked away from each other and Rian jumped onthe counter and sang.

The customers in the cafe started clapping so me and Rian bowed for then and we all laughed. While we were singing more people had came in. This was why our boss let us sing. We attracted more customers. We finished up our working day and at 4:00 pm we finished our shift and walked home.

"Today was great."

"Like every other day babe."

"True."

We walked into the apartment and I started making dinner. I walked out and Rian's clothes were all over the place.

"Adrian get your ass in here and clean up your clothing!"

"You're the woman that's your job!" He yelled back at me from the other room.

I walked over to the bedroom where he was and threw a pair of his pants at him.

"You need to clean up after yourself. I'm your girlfriend not your mom."

"It's your job."

"No it is not!"

These fights didn't happen often but no ones relationship is perfect so we had our flaws. We fought for a little longer and I got sick of it so i just walked away and continued making our dinner which was fajitas. Adrian walked into the kitchen right as I was putting the fajitas ontotwo plates. He walked up to me and gave me a puppy dog look.

"Princess I'm sorry."

I sighed.

"You're forgiven Rian. I only ask for one thing, please clean up."

"Okay baby I'll try my best."

"Alright. Let's just eat because we have a club to get to."

He nodded and we had our dinner.
