He rolled his eyes and when I calmed down from my laughing fit I sat beside him again. I turned towards him to ask something and he turned to and we were so close our noses were touching. He leaned in.....

He leaned in and I started leaning into him to until I realized what I was about to do and my eyes widened so I backed away.

I coughed and he opened his eyes confused.

"Sorry, I don't know about you but I don't go around kissing strangers..."

He smirked.

"Don't worry princess the good little farm girl always falls for the bad boy. I thought you'd know by now."

I frowned.

"Well to bad I'm not an ordinary good girl. I don't dream of falling in love Adrian. I want to go to college and succeed with my dream of singing. And if I can't then I guess I'm staying right here where I am. On the farm."

"You can sing?" He questioned.

I nodded slowly.

"I guess I can a little."

"Show me."

"What no way!"

"Oh come on!"

He chuckled and smirked.

I huffed an stood up.

I got on Diamond and started riding home and after a few minutes Adrian caught up with me on Midnight. I looked at him and he was still smirking. I rolled my eyes and when we got to the barn I quickly unsaddled Diamond and walked into the house. I saw that Adrian was pretty skilled at riding a horse so he should be fine putting Midnight back in the barn. I walked into the house and flopped onto the couch sighing. My brother came in and chuckled.

"Didn't think a guy like him could tire you out so fast sister."

"Ha.ha.ha. You are hilarious." I dead-panned sarcastically.

He turned his head towards the door and Adrian walked in. He smile at Alex and then smirked at me.

"Tired already princess?"

Alex grinned.

"Dude we are gonna make great friends I love to annoy her too!"

They high-fived and I rolled my eyes at their child-like behavior.

"I feel so loved." I said once again sarcastically.

"You've got quite the sarcasm princess."

"And you've got quite the arrogance!"

They both laughed and I groaned. My dad came in and chuckled.

"Kids you've got some funny conversations."

I gaped at him.

"Are you serious? They are terrorizing me!"

He shook his head and smiled.

"Sweetie they are boys. They're just joking."

I narrowed my eyes and walked upstairs into my room and turned on my radio but nothing interesting was on so I grabbed my songbook and opened up to a song I wrote called DNA. I did the typical girl thing. I grabbed my hair brush and started singing.

Once I finished I jumped because I heard clapping. I turned towards the sound and the one and only Adrian walked in clapping with a shocked face.

"Wow princess you're amazing!"

He smiled softly and kissed my forehead.

"Night princess."

I stood there frozen as he walked away. I soon got out of my trance, took a shower, and settled into bed. Why was Adrian so.... Sweet?
