We got our van stuck in a soft mud. Might be late for dinner :( But I promise I'll be home before you even fall asleep on the couch :) I love you :*

It has been 45 minutes since the last text message you received from your fiancé, Patrick.

You've been nervously pacing around the living room with the phone in your hand just in case one of the boys contacts you. The signal is a bit funny due to the heavy downpour which even made you worry some more.

You've also been paying attention to the news but nothing seems to be said about Fall Out Boy being stuck in a rut of mud except for their next tour in Europe.

All you know is they shot their music video in a forest near the main road and that makes it odd. They could've just had the van in the road and not in the soil. What's the worse that could happen?

You have a very bad feeling about this. This had happen before except that this is a little less worse than their first car accident.

Before you could even return to your train of negative what-if's thoughts, a rapid knock on the gate made you think that it might be Patrick. So, you grabbed the umbrella behind the door and opened it as you ran through the raging downpour. You quickly opened the gate and saw Patrick drenched in the rain while he shivers and hugs himself.

"Oh, Patrick." You whispered. "Get inside!" You yelled through the loud rain and beckoned him to come to you.

You were heartbroken when you saw your lover drenched and looked completely helpless.

Finally, he's in your arm while you hold the umbrella up with your other hand as you two run your way inside the house.

You led him to his room as you wrapped him in layers of towels. He's still shivering badly so you just wrapped him in a hug, burying your head on his neck.

"Please be okay." You mumbled to him or maybe to yourself.

After a couple of minutes, he stopped shivering and you finally heard him talk for the first time in 6 hours that he wasn't here.

"H-hi, babe." He weakly said.

You smiled at him as you proceed in taking his wet clothes off and gently patting his skin dry. "How are you feeling?" You asked worriedly.

"I'm alright I guess. Especially now that I'm with you" He sweetly said, looking at you.

You felt your heart warm and your cheeks flush at what he said. "Sweet. Now, take a shower and change into a new pair of clothes."

"Yes, mom." He said, emphasizing the last word as he chuckles.

You gasped and playfully hit him in his bare chest. He laughed this time as he stood up and went inside that bathroom to shower.

You just smiled to yourself as you grabbed his wet clothes to wash them immediately to keep them from getting soiled.

As you exited the room, you finally let out a breath you didn't realized you've been holding for God knows how long.

He made it home alive you thought to yourself, but why does it feel like something's different with him? Like something's changed. It doesn't feel like the Patrick that you've always loved and lived with.
