This imagine is based on a song by Krewella, Broken Record. I recommend you guys to listen to it and to the lyrics as well. I've been a big fan of theirs since they were still three in the group and I remained through their hard times and now that it's just Yasmine and Jahan — I don't know man it drives me to tears sometimes thinking that they've been through worse of hell and to think that they're really dedicated to Krewella and stayed no matter how many times they get wounded by all these challenges is ineffable. They're strong and I'm really really proud of them. Watching them and hearing their music grow makes me feel privileged and really proud of them. Sending my eternal love to Krewella! Stay strong and united.

Let's get down to this imagine

The crowd was getting wild with every minute passing with the songs you play. You're in an EDM group called Soundproof Minds (I couldn't think of anything else. Feel free to change it though:)). There are three of you in the group including you, Patrick Stump, and Hayley Williams.

The group was formed back in 2006 in Chicago. You all didn't finished college and left to dedicate your lives to Soundproof Minds which is a huge success and the three of you are the happiest at the moment.

All of you are sweaty that you could wring your top with all that sweat. This DJing thing also spared the three of you from going to gym. This alone is an insane workout. You couldn't help but dance along to the song and to the roar of the crowd.

Your show was nearing to its end and Hayley was talking to the audience while you and Patrick were preparing the last song for tonight. You noticed Patrick being a bit tipsy. You thought it was because of the adrenaline and the tiredness but when you smelled alcohol in his breath that's when you got worried.

"Patrick, are you drunk?" You asked.

He laughed and shook his head no. "I'm completely sober." He answered.

You were about to talk but then you felt Hayley bump you which means it's time to play the last song.

You put your headphones on to listen to the sound of the song if the mixes were right and you bobbed your head up and down as the song starts.

You and Hayley grabbed your microphones and started singing to the song while leading the raging crowd.

It took about 8 minutes and you were making the mist out of the remaining two minutes of the song. You were excited to drop the beat and lose yourself completely together with the crowd. Your fingers were on the buttons while you press one side of the headphones against your ear as you work on the effects, teasing the crowd.

Hayley was also on the controller and on the laptop while Patrick is on the FX. You exchanged looks and nodded. As you were about to drop the beat, something went wrong. There was an ear-piercing feedback which made everyone cringe. You heard Patrick laughing and hollering as he jumps up and down as he fumbles with the buttons.

You grabbed him by the arm while Hayley plug the wires back to their sockets to put the music back.

"Patrick!" You screamed at him as you gripped him tighter.

He just laughed as he danced and the music resumed. He then managed to rip his arm from your grip and went back to the controllers. You thought he sobered up but then he was there messing up with the controllers and fucking up the song at its worst.

He was out of control. He even pushed Hayley aside and continued messing up, telling at the microphone, receiving boos from the crowd.

You motioned for security and they dragged him out of the show and brought him on the backstage.

You and Hayley managed to finish the show and received cheers and calls from the crowd as both of you bowed down and walked on the backstage where you saw Patrick sobering up finally.

You were furious at the behavior he showed. He messed up the show and it didn't happened once but a couple of times. All because of his alcohol problem.

You walked past him, not wanting to blow up on him because he's probably high on drugs or under the influence of alcohol. You wanted to talk to him and know the problem. You want to help him but he's very secretive about it.

"Hey, Y/N." Patrick called out.

You turned around and stayed in your spot. "What?"

"I'm sorry." He spoke.

"Sure. Whatever." You said and walked away.

You reached the outside and you didn't walked any further. You just want to breathe and think. He's losing his control and it's getting out of hand. He'd get violent sometimes and its worrying and scaring you at the same time.

You wanted to send him to a rehab but he hurts you every time you talk to him about it. So you thought he'd be alright if he kept on doing this with you because you thought he'd be fixed as time goes by. But he only grew worse. He got so dependent on chemicals when things get rough for him. You just want him to be okay. He's like your brother and it hurts you seeing him ruin himself.

"Y/N?" Hayley softly called.

You hugged yourself as the cold wind blew against your sweat soaked body. Tears finally broke the walls you've been building up and sobbed.

Hayley hugged you as she rubbed her hand up and down, whispering comforting words.

"I just...I just want to make him okay." You said through your choked sobs.

"I think we need to bring him to a rehab. He's out of control. We don't work well anymore." She said.

You bit hard on your lip. It's hard to simply think of letting him go. It rips your heart.

"Yeah, I think you should." You heard Patrick said.

You turned to him, his face flushed, his eyes a bit red and swollen from crying. "Patrick, don't —"

"We can't go on like this. I've ruined so many shows. I even tend to physically hurt you at times." He admitted. "I'm so sorry."

You went to hug him and he starts to cry. "I just can't let you take yourself away from us." You spoke softly to him.

It has been one month since Patrick was admitted to a rehab center. It was painful to let him go but you hope he'll come back not completely fixed but stronger enough to shatter his own demons.

Soundproof Minds went on with just you and Hayley while Patrick works on being better. It would never be the same without him but he remained to be a huge inspiration to keep going. He remained as your ammunition, while the whole world continues to dance along to the beat you make.
