I Know You Hear Me

Liam's POV

It's been a few weeks since our last convo about my immortality. I hate not being able to hold Jocelyn the way I want. I have to take action on this. I'm going vampire hunting.

Jocelyn's POV

I want Liam to hold me and be mine but I just can't. I know I won't be able to cope when he passes or when we have to leave. We can't stay too long. People will notice we don't age, we'll have no choice but to leave, and when it comes time, I will have to be able to walk away without being depressed for a thousand years. Where is Liam anyways?

Liam POV

I'm in an alley somewhere with a gash in my arm. I'm hoping a vampire will come before I bleed to death. I heard something move behind me and out of nowhere something was biting me. I turned around and staked it. After that everything turned to darkness.

Jocelyn POV

I'm so worried it's 12:00 a.m and he's not home yet.

"Jill, I'm really worried. He's not out late like that. He's the responsible one, we all know what's out there. We waited long enough, we have to search for him."

"Niall, Zayn, let's go!" She shouts.

Jill and I went together while Zayn and Niall went with each other. We searched every place we thought Liam would be. We ended with the library.

"Jill where could he be? I'm really worried about him, he could get hurt."

"Is that a dead vamp I smell?"

"Yeah"

"Let's check it out."

We go to the alley by the library and we see the dead vamp along with Liam.

"Oh no, is he dead?"

"No, he's changing. Look at the gash on his arm." Sure enough it was healing before our very eyes.

"How do you think he got the gash?" I asked.

"He did it to himself."

"What?!"

"Look at that knife over there. It has blood on it and there are no signs of a fight. A vampire wouldn't use that on its victims because its teeth and speed is good enough. He came out here and and cut himself so the vamp would bite him. He killed it once he was bitten and passed out for the phase."

"Why would he do something so reckless?"

"For you. You wouldn't be with him because he's mortal and you didn't want to feel the pain when he passes. Now you don't have to and you two could be together."

"Let's get him home. Call the boys and tell them we found him."

I can't believe he would do this for us. It was stupid and reckless. Now he has to live with a constant burn in his throat and want to kill everyone he loves. We make it look easy but trust me its not. There have been plenty of times when I wanted to kill Liam. Yeah we only need blood once a month, but the cravings are still there and he'll want to feed really bad. No male vampire went without killing a human. So yeah, that means Niall has killed before. And he beats himself up for it. I just hope nothing bad happens. I really do care about him.

Liam's POV

I wake up in my bed nobody here to welcome me. I could feel the anger in the air and now I'm scared to go downstairs. I'm going anyway.

"Hey guys!" Complete silence.

"I know you guys can here me. Especially you Jocie." Still nobody talks.

"Do you guys want to go out? This place is starting to piss me off." Zayn asked that.

"Yeah. I agree" Jocie agreed. That really hurt.

They left. Without even acknowledging my presence. That made me real mad. I'm going out, I don't know where, but I do know there's only one way to get rid of this burn in my throat.
