Chapter-5

"Shea! How was the first day?" Asks mom.

"Just like any other day mom. Nothing special. Oh there's this party that I got invited for" I say.

"Really? When and where?"

"It's at Emily's place" I lie.

"Sure! Be home by 11"

"Umm... We might just have a sleepover mom"

"Ah okay. Just don't make Emily's mom go mad" she says giggling.

"Sure mom" I say laughing.

I go to my room and decide what to wear. After about three hours, I finally decide to wear a dark blue dress.

I get a call from Eddie. I tell him to pick me up by eight. We all intend to go in the same car.

"Omg Shea. Where'd you find such a sassy dress? Looking hot!" Says Emily.

"Totally!" Bella says.

Emily is wearing a pink dress while Bella is wearing jeans and a white t-shirt.

"Thank you. Bought it a couple of weeks back. You guys look good too!" I say.

"You all look pretty. Can we get in the car now?" Asks Mike with irritation.

We then hit the road. We talk a little on the way about how we're gonna come to school the next day if we're all gonna be so hungover by the previous day's party. Hopefully we don't get caught by our parents.

"And we're here" says Mike.

We reach the motel. It has a board hung over with the name 'traveler's cabin' in green. It looks a little isolated. We walk towards the reception and see this guy in a red beanie. He looks like he hasn't slept for days.

"You folks from where exactly?" He asks.

"We're from the city itself. We're here to meet our friends" Bella says.

"Right. Your names please?" He asks.

"There's no need for that Keith. They're with me" Mathew says.

Mathew says that like he knows this guy well or something. He's dressed up in full black. Black shirt and black jeans. I have to say he looks oh so good.

"Oh so these were the guys you were talking about" says Keith.

"Yup. It's them. They're here for the night with us" Suzy says from behind.

She's wearing black too. Same shirt and jeans. They look like a couple going to prom.

"Hey guys. Let's head to the backyard. That's where we're gonna really have fun" Suzy says excitedly.

"You got beer?" Asks Mike.

"It's a party Mike! Sure we do" Suzy says.

"By the way, you guys look amazing. Especially you Shea. Look at those legs. I wonder if you could run in that dress" Mathew says with a smirk.

Run in that? What?

Was he hitting on me right in front of his girlfriend? I see Emily and Bella looking stunned. Suzy is expressionless. I don't think she cares.

"Thanks Mathew. Why would I wanna run in my dress?" I ask.

"It's just that that dress is so short and... And sexy. Would you be able to even sit in it? Asks Suzy laughing hysterically.

Are they drunk? Or high?

Bella looks at me indicating that Suzy might just be hitting on me. It's so weird. All of a sudden, they seem so open.

"I'm wearing shorts inside. The really short kind so I guess I can. Why are you asking me that?" I ask with curiosity.

"Nothing Shea. We're just... You know...playing around" Suzy says looking at me from top to bottom.

That was one awkward checkout.

We follow them out of the reception area into a garden like area. It's kinda small. There are no chairs or tables and no open bar. Just people. We see many people there. They're all dressed in the same black shirt and jeans. They look at all of us smiling.

"You guys are all wearing the same outfit" I say suspiciously.

"Oh you noticed that? Well what can we say? We're all a team" Suzy says.

"What? What do you mean?" Eddie asks.

"What is going on? Is this a frat party with a color code or something?" Emily asks with digust.

They walk towards us. Mike seems to be getting a little scared with those huge men coming near us. I see Bella looking confused. They surround us in a circle.

"Who is the one? The one in pink?" Asks a very tall guy with sunglasses.

"No. It's the one in the dark blue dress" Suzy says pointing at me with a wicked smile.
