AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Sorry for the SUPER LONG WAIT! I've just been busy with school coming up and busy writing my other stories! SO, speaking of school, I may not have that much time to update. So I'm really sorry if my updates are less frequent. I'm going back to school on September 7 so... Yeah LOL.
OH AND.... This chapter is a bit different from my other chapters! Well, not really different but.... This chapter is going to be set 8 months after the events from last chapter! It's the WEDDING CHAPTER!!!!! BUT... THIS STORY IS FAR FROM OVER SO DON'T THINK THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER!

Chapter 17 (8 Months Later, March)
"One last curl!" Rose said excitedly as she twisted one last hair strand around the hair straigtener, curling it.
Today was my wedding day. Today, I was going to marry the love of my life. Soon, I was going to be Mrs. Jane Lively. I stared into the mirror as I felt Rose tugging lightly on my hair, curling it.
My makeup was natural but brought out my eyes. My bangs were pinned back and my hair tumbled down into soft curls. For now, I was wearing a black robe. I hadn't changed into my wedding dress yet.
"You look stunning. Don't worry!" Rose said, smiling.
"I'm so nervous. What if I mess up on my lines at the altar?" I asked.
Rose laughed. "What? You think that by messing up on your lines, Nate would decide not to marry you anymore? That's silly! He'd love you either way."
I smiled at that. "How is Nate doing? Richard's in there with him, right?"
Rose laughed, nodding. "Don't worry, he's just as nervous as you are! Richard's in there with him. Getting him prepared."
I sighed, relieved. "Okay."
Rose turned off the straightener and looked at me in the mirror. She gasped. "You look beautiful!"
I stared at my hair. It was perfect. "Wow, it's really pretty. Thanks for doing my hair."
Rose laughed. "Don't mention it."
I got up from my chair, heading for the door. "No! Wait! Groom is not supposed to see Bride until ceremony time!" Rose yelled.
I laughed turning around. "What is this? Some wedding superstition?"
Rose shrugged. "I guess so. I've just heard of it in movies. But still.... I want to see the surprise on his face when you come out!"
I rolled my eyes, giving in. "Oh, alright."
"He hasn't seen the dress yet, right?"
"Yeah, he hasn't."
"Good! That makes it even more perfect! Where is the dress, anyways?"
I pointed to the wall, where my dress hung in it's bag. Rose ran over and unzipped the bag, pulling out the dress. "Oh. My. God. This is so beautiful!"
I smiled. "Thanks. I wanted something simple but not too simple so I picked this one with the little sparkly patten on the front."
Rose nodded, impressed. "Damn. I just realized how good this dress will make your boobs look."
I laughed, playfully hitting Rose in the arm. "Rose! That's gross."
Rose shrugged. "I'm just saying!"
I rolled my eyes. "You are such a pervert."
"Maybe you should put the dress on, now," Rose said, ignoring my insult.
I nodded. "I should. Go out for a bit. I'll knock on the door to tell you to come in once I'm finished."
Rose squealed, hugging me. "You are the best sister ever! I'm just going to be waiting right outside," she said, walking out of the room and shutting the door.
I looked at the dress for a bit, studying it's features. This dress was a little out fo my comfort zone but then again, it made me feel really pretty.
I was just about to put it on when my cell phone rang. I smiled when I saw who it was. "Hey, future husband," I said into the phone.
"Hey, soon to be Mrs. Lively. Are you okay?"
"Yup, I'm just putting on my dress. How about you?"
"Just calming my nerves for a bit. What does your dress look like?"
I giggled. "Secret! You'll have to see when I walk down the aisle."
Nate groaned. "Aww, Janey! Please come to my room and let me see!" he whined.
I laughed. "Nope. No way. I want to see the surprise on your face when you see it. I think you'll love it."
Nate groaned. "Okay, fine. How are you holding up?"
"Good. A bit nervous, too."
Nate laughed. "Aww, well, I can't wait to see you out there. I gotta go now. I love you, future wife."
I laughed, blushing. "I love you too, future husband."
I hung up, turning back to the dress. I quickly put it on, studying myself in it. It made me look so tall and graceful. The white went perfect with my skin tone.
I went over to the door and knocked. Immediately, Rose came in. Her eyes widened. "Oh my god! You look perfect! Beautiful! Gorgeous! I can't even find a word to show how breathtaking you look. You look like a model," she said, smiling.
I smiled, twirling around for her to see every part of it. "Thank you. Maybe you should try on your dress, now."
Rose nodded. "Okay, but close your eyes and stand over there. I have to change in here but I am not allowing you to step outside of this room until it's time. So close your eyes while I'm getting dressed," she said, pointing to a corner.
I rolled my eyes and put my hands to my eyes, covering them. I could hear the zipper being zipped and the rustling of a dress.
"Okay, look," Rose said.
I uncovered my eyes and looked at Rose. Her tiny body was perfect in the baby blue dress. The dress went up to her knees and the sleeves were off the shoulder.
"You look so pretty!" I said, smiling.
Rose smiled. "Thank you."
Just then, someone knocked on the door. Rose ran over and opened it a little to reveal the wedding planner. "Are you guys ready to go?"
I nodded. "We're ready."
