Chapter 4 - Furniture arrives

Lucy POV

Today is the day all my furniture arrive and my room is fully mine just the way I like it. The girls and Mum already said they would help set up my room once everything arrives of course. Next thing I know a truck pulls up outside. I get up off the floor and yell 'it's here it's here Mum, Dad it's here' you see, I was really excited to get my stuff. I ran outside and met Mum and Dad to get my new furniture. The delivery crew unloaded my stuff and put it in my room which was really helpful. All I had to do was put it in the places I wanted and assemble a few little things. After that my room would be done.

-----------------2 hours later----------------

My stuff is finally in place and my room looks so much nicer now. We all take a step back to admire all our blood sweat and tears. We also found out Gavin isn't so good with hammers and fingers, hence the blood reference. Then Brock saw the blood and thought Gavin was dieting so he started crying hence the tears reference. Finally it is just so dang hot we kept sweating and sweating and sweating. You get used to that in Idaho though. 'Thank you Mum, Dad and kids for helping me set up my new room, I love it, now it really feels like my own' I told them. 'Now that's all done can we get food Mum I'm starving' whined Emmi and Brock. I nodded in agreement although my room looks awesome I'm starving. We all ran upstairs had some lunch and relaxed for the rest of the day. None of us could be bothered to do anything it was too hot and after all we were quite content relaxing.
