Today was the day Lucy would go to high school. I was worried and a little scared for her but I was putting on a brave face for her. She starts the school year in 2 weeks we just have to do this so she will know where to go and all the stuff about the school. It was very important to do this, we finally pull up at the school and park the car Shay and I get out with Lucy by our side. She looks so nervous and scared, I hugged her and we walked into the school office. 'Hi we are here for the orientation day' I said,
'That way. Follow the signs' the admin lady told us, we walked out 'Wow she was rude and clearly didn't want to be there' Lucy finally spoke 'I don't like this school already'
'Honey, it will get better don't worry about it alright?' I told her comfortingly. I wasn't to sure about the school either but she couldn't know that. Shay and I dropped Lucy off and she started doing what she had to. 'Shay what about homeschooling, I know it's out of the blue but then we can go to events easier we can hire someone to do teach her. This school is just giving me the creeps, I'm not so sure about it'
'Neither am I. Something about it isn't right, besides we can afford to homeschool and hire someone. I think she will prefer it'
'Well then she doesn't need to do this lets grab her' with that Shay and I walked inside and got Lucy. We told her her the news and she seemed over the moon about the idea.
Lucy POV
I'm getting homeschooled so I don't have to go to real school anymore. This will be wwwaaaayyyy better, I don't have to wake up early and I'll get less homework. What do I have to complain about? We drove home and I started searching information about it all and showed Mum and Dad. They seemed really happy about what I had found so they just had to find me a teacher.
