"Here you go," an overfriendly secretary beamed assuringly as she handed us our schedules. I looked up at her with a fake smile an nodded. We all hurried out of the front office as we examined our schedules.

"Hmm. Trig first," I told Bae and Braedon quietly.

"I've got Biology first," Bae shrugged.

"English here," Braedon sulked. We all looked at each other, calm masks covering our fear. I opened my mouth to speak before a loud, nazal bell rang through the air. I cringed and let out a sigh. Going to a normal school was so different and nerve wracking. I hated every minute of it.

"Good luck, guys," Braedon murmured before walking away. I glanced at Bae, my eyes filled with terror. He nodded in assurance before heading off.

I quickly started making my way through the packed hallways. I kept my head down as I got shoved around carelessly. I wasn't use to being so invisible. In my old school, I was one of the most popular girls in school. I let out a sigh and kept walking. I wasn't that Destiny anymore.

The hallways were starting to empty out as I realized I couldn't find my class. Being late on the first day of school wouldn't be too good.

As I stumbled along, head stuck in both my schedule and map of the school, I ran straight into someone.

"Oh, God, I'm so sorry," I mumbled, dropping my papers. I looked up to see the face of a familiar brunette smirking at me. It was Ryleigh, the girl next door.

"You're fine. Need any help? You look lost," she said as she kneeled down, picking up my papers for me.

"Yea, I can't find Trig," I told her quietly. People passing by were starting to stare, some even stopping to watch us. I groaned internally; I didn't want to be that mysterious new girl.

"Trig? With Jensen?" Ryleigh asked before examining my schedule. I nodded, ignored the stares baring into me.

"That's my first class, too. C'mon, it's right over here," she smiled, handing me my papers. I managed to smile back as we started walking together. Sure enough, our class was right around the corner.

We entered the classroom just before the drilling bell rang. I slowly walked to the teachers desk, all eyes on me.

Mrs. Jensen, an old, strict looking woman glanced up at me from her desk.

"Oh, you must be Sage," she stated while examining me. I nodded, almost forgetting my new name.

"Go ahead and take on of the empty seats in back," she told me while standing up. I quickly stumbled down the long aisle, heading to the empty seat in the back left corner.

I quickly sat down, ducking my head to avoid the stares. I tried to listen to Mrs. Jensens boring voice drone on, but it was extremely difficult, so I just tried to be invisible throughout class.

"Sage!" I heard a voice whisper, and I dared to finally look around the classroom.

Bad choice. Everyone in a three seat radius was turned around, staring at me. I normally wouldn't be afraid of the attention, but after everything that happened involving the SST, I was a little more than paranoid.

I scanned the faces, searching for who had whispered my name.

"Sage!" The voice whispered again, and I finally noticed Ryleigh trying to get my attention. She was sitting a few seats to my left.

'Catch it,' she mouthed as she she tossed a small piece of paper underhand towards me. I quickly caught it and set it on my desk. I glanced up at Mrs. Jensen, who was completely oblivious, and I opened the note.
