The Day of a Noble (based on the pre-Victorian Britian)

Frills and Lace

Ruffles post haste

Satin and silk

For proper ilk

Tea at two

Lady's to woo

Rules to head

Gentlemen lead

The mansion shines

The guests dine

On caviar and quail

Nothing is stale

The music swells

Skirts twirl like bells

On a windy night

The ball is in flight

The carriages leave

On the night's eve

Servants undress

Their master so they may rest

Until the morning

When the sun adorning

A blue sky

Opens their eye

To start the process again.
