"Ravenstar? Browntail?" Lightningstorm's voice echoed through the blackness. She saw cats with stars in their pelts looking at her full of hope. She passed fading cats, old cats, warriors that died in battle, and worst of all, kits.
"I am Riverstar," mewed a fluffy silver tom. He had blue eyes and was controlling a stream that was the only thing other than cats Lightningstorm could see.
"Is it true I am related to the great Riverclan founder?" Lightningstorm asked excitedly.
"Yes, but we have more important things to talk about. I have sent Brambleberry to talk to Dappleleaf. She, when you awake, will allow you and Starlingkit to go to Riverclan and she will cure your daughter. There I will also teach you how to use your power," Riverstar mewed.
Lightningstorm wanted to gasp, because he just talked and talked. "That's a lot."
"Well, a prophecy was told and what do you expect? Everyone, even Starclan cats, look to us, the founders for answers," Riverstar mewed as he waved his tail pointing at three cats.
"I am Windstar," mewed a wiry brown she-cat with yellow eyes. She was standing over an injured cat. She stared at the tom lovingly. Lightningstorm guessed that was her mate, Gorsestar, as he was remembered in the legends.
"I am Thunderstar," mewed a large orange tom with amber eyes, and big white paws. He was enjoying a big thrush.
"I am Shadowstar," mewed Shadowstar, a sleek, thick-furred, muscular, large black she-cat with green eyes. She stood staring at Lightningstorm.
"These cats founded the clans, and now you must save the clans. If the clans die everything, and everyone will die," mewed the bold founder of Riverclan. "A storm is coming and it will rage through the darkness and bring light!"
"Not another prophecy piece," groaned Lightningstorm.
"It isn't a prophecy piece, but what must happen. It isn't clear even to Starclan what will happen, but you must save us," Riverstar yowled.
The other leaders sat next to him and all of Starclan gathered around.
"We are the founders and we have chosen are savior!" The leaders yowled all strong and noble looking sitting on a rock.
"Lightningstorm?"
Lightningstorm turned to see Browntail, but then, before she could say anything, she awoke.
Lightningstorm opened her eyes. Silverpaw was next to her. On her other side was the cat she was looking for, Dappleleaf, her kits possible savior.
"Lightningstorm? Is Starlingkit okay?" Dappleleaf asked.
Lightningstorm shook her head. She pictured her kit. So small, and so delicate. She was dying.
"Riverclan has a lot if catmint. We can spare some. Why don't you bring Starlingkit to Riverclan to heal. You may also stay. If that's ok with you."
"Of course, it will save my kit, so, I will go with you to Riverclan."
"Lilacleaf, do you think Airstar would be fine with that?" Dappleleaf asked.
"As long as Creekstar is," mewed the Shadowclan medicine cat.
Lightningstorm looked up at the stars. Thank you, and Brambleberry. I won't forget this, Lightningstorm spoke in her head hoping Starclan could hear her thoughts.
Your welcome, mewed a voice that sounded like a she-cat's.
Lightningstorm guessed it was Brambleberry's voice.
"Thank you, Brambleberry," whispered Lightningstorm.
