I Will Stay

Lucy's PoV

Loki (Leo) and Aries just stood there, Loki scrunched up his nose like he smelled something awful. Natsu just stood there, as if in conflict with himself. The evil that came off of him was terrifying. 

"Natsu?" I whispered.

His ears perked at my voice. Most of the crew was asleep, except for a few strong souls. 

"I can't let you leave here. I can't let you," he struggled. 

What plagues his mind? What beast is inside? The answer came to mind as if I had read his mind. A dragon. I, myself, have only seen one dragon, and she rarely came to see me. She said that dragon slayers, a rare thing indeed, had something close to possession when they wanted something bad.

"Loki, Aries, I can handle this. Go home. Tell Sound were I am and what's going on if she stops by," I whisper to the two zodiacs, who are in a protective stance around me. 

Natsu's PoV

Take her...

If I do that, she'll never forgive me. She wants to go home.

She is the one, you'll let her walk away?

Never. Darn this, dragon. Let me out.

Lucy's PoV

"But..."

"Loki."

"Yes, ma'am."

They both disappear. The ones who were struggling to stay awake eased as Aries left, her spell of sleep lifting. I started to walk up to the dragon slayer.

"Stay away from him!" the red headed woman yelled. 

No, I have to do this for him to calm down, I thought.

I put my arms around his stone body.

"If you don't want me to leave, then I shall stay," I promised.

Natsu's PoV

I snapped out of my trance, my dragon calming to where I could almost hear purring. I looked down to see blonde hair and a girl embracing me. Luce...

"If you don't want me to leave, then I shall stay," Lucy mumbled.

Music to my ears.

I felt my face get hot. 

"Luce, I'm calm now, you can let go," I whispered, mentally face palming myself for making her let go. 

I looked around to see half my crew peacefully sleeping on deck. Did I do that? No they don't look hurt.

"They'll wake in a minute. They're just sleeping," Lucy remarked, as if reading my mind. 

They all started to stir and the strongest of the group, like Erza, Gray, and Mira, straitened up. 

"Nastu, you alright?" Erza asked. 

"Now. Don't worry I don't bite, anymore," I chuckled, grinning.

She rolled her eyes and started to wake the rest of the crew.

"How did you know how to stop it?" I questioned her. Only my crew knew about me being a dragon slayer.

"That's easy, dragon slayer. A dragon told me," Lucy said proudly.

Did I hear her right? A dragon told her? Wouldn't that make her a dragon slayer also? I was thinking to much. I never think! This girl... so mysterious.

"Her name was Sound. She was a good friend, almost like a mother. She never taught me magic, however," Lucy clarified. 

Wow. You don't hear that every day. Igneel was the same with me, but he taught me magic. 

"Well, welcome to the crew Luce! I'll show you around if you like," I offered, putting both my hands behind my head.

She nodded and we set off. 

Lucy's PoV

We walked up to the red headed woman who had on a armor chest piece. She smiled a nervous smile as I approached her. 

"This is Erza, my third in command. Erza, this is Lucy," Natsu introduced. 

She gave her hand and I took it. I meet many others the same way, all but a few nervous to look me in my eyes. The next person I was introduced to was Levy, the navigator. Gajeel, who was head of repairs, and his cat PantherLilly. Mirajane, the barmaid, Laxus, Mira's boyfriend and was head of weaponry. Wendy the doctor, even though she was 12, and her cat Carla. Cana, the heavy drinker of the group. The Water Woman, Juvia, who spoke in third person. 

"And this is Elsa, my first mate," Natsu smirked.

He pointed to a raven haired boy. The name made me think it was a girl. The boy turn around looking very annoyed. He took a deep breath and smiled at me. 

"Don't mind flame brain. Names Gray, and yours?" he asked, his face red as he stared at me.

I got red and my heart sped up. This boy was so shy around me and yet he addressed, who Natsu told me, was their captain very rudely. 

"My names Lucy. Nice to meet you," I greeted, holding out my hand. 

He hesitated, but accepted it, going redder. I swear I heard Natsu growl at him. Gray stared at our linked hands for a while, until Natsu butted in.

"Alright, you can let go of her now," Natsu growled, ripping our hands apart.

"Alright you two. Your scaring Lucy, you two Bakas," Erza said. 

She walked over and rammed their heads together. They both fell and rubbed their foreheads. They looked at her like she was a god, about to punish them.Thank you, my savior, I thought.
I mouthed thank you to Erza and she winked.

"I think Lucy might be just as scary as Erza sometimes. Now they've teamed up," Natsu mumbled. 

I giggled. Natsu smiled at me and kindness flooded his eyes. I almost wanted to melt into those onyx eyes of his. Mira, a girl with white hair and a layered, pink dress, gave me a stare that said,
Oh my God, I think those two look so cute together.I thought I fainted. Gray looked over Mira and saw that she was grinning at us deviously. I almost thought shock crossed his face. Shock, and disappointment. What's wrong with him? 

"Gray, what's wrong?" I asked.

"He wants you and can't have you," Natsu answered bluntly.

I felt my eyes widen. He wants you and can't have you. What does that mean? Wants...
It clicked. Woah... Can't have me, am I taken or something? This got weird. Mira saved me by pushing me into Natsu's cabin. As soon as we got in there, her face lit up.

"Oh my God! I have two new ships! NaLu and, hm, what shall I call you and Gray?" she muttered.

What? I just brushed by her, my face a furnace. I just got here and she's match making me, with Natsu ? The sea air hit me again. I was greeted by a slightly upset Natsu .
