Protect Me

__two weeks later__

The first thing I saw was a red dragon. He was calm as I laid next to him. I got up to leave, and the dragon went nuts. He spat fiery breath. The next thing I know, Natsu is in front of me, shielding me from this beast. I sat up, sweating and hyperventilating. What was that? Then I remembered where I was. I looked around, and notice pink in the corner of my eyes. I looked to see a staring Natsu . 

"What were you dreaming about? You tossed and turned all night," he asked, worry crossing my dream saviors voice. 

"I-I'm fine," I said breathlessly.

His eyes widened and he cupped his hands around my face, sitting up. His now visible chest made my heart flutter. 

"What did you see? What did he show you?" he asked, panicked. 

"I don't, I don't know," I answered. 

He gave me a stern look. He made our faces get really close. I went red. What are you doing!?
H-he kissed me. His lips soft and warm. Comforting, even. He licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance, I denied. He took his hand and jerked me closer, making me gasp. He shoved his tongue in my mouth. The scenes of my nightmare played through my mind. He was looking through my mind. His lips let go of mine, both of us breathing hard and blushing.

"J-jerk. That was my first kiss!" I yelled.

"Your not bad though," Natsu complimented.

Wow... Hittin or nah?

I turned a deeper shade of red. You aren't that bad either. What, aw never mind. He scooted a little closer and smirked, his eyes filled with the lust I saw earlier. 

"Round two?" he asked deviously.

No, your getting scary.

I backed up, only landing my butt on the floor. He crept closer. His eye were those of a cat, no, a dragon. This is way to scary. I shook from my place on the floor. I heard a knock and a voice that was fierce. 

"Captain? What are you doing? Lucy is missing from her quarters," Erza said threw the door.

"Erza..." I mumbled, only to get a hand over my mouth. 

"Lucy? Captain!" Erza snapped. 

The door handle was dragged in its place on the door. 

"Shhh," Natsu shushed. I felt myself get dizzy, then out went the lights.

Ezra's PoV 

I know dragon season was close, but not this close. 

"Lucy? Lucy are you alright!?" I yelled threw the door.

"Erza, stop trying to rip the door to pieces. One minute," Natsu yelled at me. 

His voice was panicked and yet it was calm at the same time. The door handle twisted. Natsu had a worried expression.

What did you do to her? I thought. I walked in to see a sleeping Lucy in the floor. Thank God she has all her clothes on.

"I just hope I didn't do anything to her," Natsu mumbled. 

"We're going to have strap you down if this continues," I giggled, trying to lighten the mood.

"The big, bad dragon on a leash? I don't think so," he chuckled. 

I went over to Lucy and shook her lightly. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked at me, then Natsu . Fear flickered on her face, then she calmed down. She could tell the difference in the Natsu that would hurt her from the one that would protect her. Pain stretched across Natsu's face. 

"What happened?" Lucy asked.

"We were going to ask you that," Natsu stated. 

"How much do you remember, Natsu ?" I asked. 

"I remember having to kiss her because she wouldn't tell me what she dreamed about, that's it," Natsu recalled.

"Then you started acting weird, then as Erza came to the door, you put me to sleep," Lucy finished.

Nastu sighed. At least he hadn't, um, you know. 

"I'll take her to her chamber and she'll lock it from the inside," I offered.

"Please?" Natsu pleaded.

I took Lucy and we did as I said. Thank God there were no more distribution. 

Lucy's PoV

My eyes flickered open as someone knocked in the door. 

"Rise and shine, Lucy! We're going to dock soon!" a small voice came threw the door.

Wendy was my alarm clock today, huh? Oh well. I got up and put on the clothes that were left on the dresser. a white, long sleeve shirt and a pair of baggy, red pants. I walked to the door and unlocked it. I walked on deck and seen everyone running around.

"Hey, Luce!" a cheerful voice called.

Only one person calls me Luce.

"Hey, Natsu ! How are you doing?" I asked, a special meaning behind my words.

"Oh, I'm feeling better," he said looking down at the deck, rubbing the back of his head. 

"Good, we need you at your best, Captain," I teased. 

He put on his famous grin at the name.

"Captain Natsu . Has a nice ring to it," he joked.

"Captain! Land ho!" Levy said from the crows nest.

"Finally!" Natsu exclaimed.

 He looked at me teasingly then he threw something at me. It was a sword. I looked at Nastu like he was crazy.

"Every pirate knows how to use a sword," he chuckled.

He got into a stance to attack.
