Captured by the Captain (NaLu) [BEING REWRITTEN]

Just A Little Longer

Natsu's POV

Just a bit more, we'll be there in the morning. Please don't break, my glass doll, I thought as I gripped the helm tight enough to turn my knuckles white.

Wendy was in my cabin, trying her best. Erza was barking orders, Gray was standing by my side, everyone else was following Erza. Levy was next to Erza explaining where they had to go. Only one thing was strange on the ship besides Luce not being there, everyone's face was in a painful smile.

They're trying to stay happy, but the pain of Luce's state is seeping through. I'm gonna go see Lucy. I let go of the helm and Gray takes over. He shoots me a worried look and I give his a twisted smile. I head down the stairs and turn left. I open the door and it slides open with no sound. Wendy is siting in the chair that was previously at my desk, peacefully sleeping. Carla, her white cat, was in her lap asleep. Happy was under the chair softly meowing in his sleep. On the bed was Luce. Her beautiful golden hair spread on the pillows like a halo, her eyes were lightly shut in her Sleeping Beauty-like state. Her lips were parted slightly so she could breath. Her chest lifted and sunk slowly as she breathed.

"Hi, there, Luce. Everyone misses you. I hope you are sleeping peacefully, and you need to hurry and wake up. Everyone here is smiling for you, but it doesn't compare with yours, the one that lit up the room, and my world."

By the end, I was in tears. I wonder if she can hear me. I love you, Luce. Hurry and come back, OK?

Lucy's POV (0_0)

It was dark, cold and damp. I was just floating there, in nothing. Then I heard something, a voice. It was so familiar, so I listened.

"Hi, there, Luce. Everyone misses you. I hope you are sleeping peacefully, and you need to hurry and wake up. Everyone here is smiling for you, but it doesn't compare with yours, the one that lit up the room, and my world."

Natsu...

I want to come back! Please help me! I need you! Come rescue me like you did so many times! Come to me... Natsu...

Natsu's POV

"Come to me... Natsu..." Luce mumbled.

My ears picked it up, even though with my dragon hearing, was quiet. I held her hand and she shivered. She was so cold. I jumped under the covers, trying to warm her. She subconsciously snuggled up to me and I noticed that her head was on fire and the rest of her was a popsicle. I ended up falling asleep with my arms rapped around my mate.

Laxus's POV

I was in the hull of the ship, taking count of the cannonballs. It was hard to concentrate, because Mira came to mind every time I started counting. That's when I heard a bed rattle on deck. It was from the captain cabin, where Lucy was at. Maybe she's up. I headed up the ladder that lead up to the deck. The face I was greeted with was Mira's. Darn, dragon season. I came up behind her and hugged her. (remember, their dating)

"Hi, there, Laxus. What you up to?" Mira asked.

"I was trying to count how many cannonballs we had and you just had to interrupt my thoughts," I replied honestly. "You do know what today is, right?"

"The start of..." she began.

"Dragon season," we finished together.

I then remembered the reason for coming up here. I walked over to the captain's cabin. I open the door and peaked my head in. I looked around the room and saw Wendy asleep with the cats and in the bed was Lucy, the only thing that was different was the salmon and the smell of ashes. So, Natsu couldn't stand being away from her anymore. Speaking of staying away, where's Gajeel.-_- A better question, where's Levy? Crows nest or with Erza.

Levy's POV

It was nightfall already and I was tired. I could feel myself drift as I stood next to Erza. She walked away from me to settle a fight. My eyes closed for only a few seconds and I felt myself fall. I was caught by two, strong, comforting arms.

"Woah, there, Shrimp. Don't pass out on me," someone chuckled.

Ignoring the request, I fell asleep in his arms.

Gajeel's POV

Levy fell asleep when I caught her. I picked her up bridal style and walked to the girl's cabin. I pushed open the cracked door to find Erza there with Wendy. The two sleeping girls were now both in bed and Erza pushed me out. I didn't fight, even though I wanted more that anything to stay with Shrimp. God, I hate dragon season. I walked out and Laxus was there, waiting for me. All I did was nod.

"Be careful," he warned.

I walked past him to go to bed. I got to our cabin and went over to my bed. There was a bag on my bed and a note laid there next to it. I picked it up and read it. (Gajeel read, as if)

Dear Gajeel,

I found this laying around and no one had a use for them so I thought you would like them. I know you snack a lot and Mira was running out so, here you go.

At her name, I could see erase marks. I lifted it closer and seen what she had erased. Under her name was Shrimp. I almost died laughing. I untied the bag and saw little scraps of metal. Thanks, Shrimp.

3rd POV

Everyone went to bed and all was silent on the ship Fairytail. The only thing to be heard was the crashing of waves and the light snores on the ship as it approached Tropical Island.

Sorry for the short chapter but I didn't knw wat to put besides them reaching the island. The lingering question is if lucy will live or not. Natsu said she was cold, thats a sign of dieing.

Natsu: you better not kill luce!

Lucy: i don't wanna die!
