Lucy's POV

I woke up and felt unnatural heat next to me. I snuggled up to him. My body lit on fire as I got closer. That's when I heard it. It was Mira's voice.

Sure, coming right up, she giggled.

Yeah, fill it to the top, Mira, Cana's voice rang.

Here you go.

Then I heard one of the wooden mugs hit the smooth, wooden counter of the bar. The bar?! How can I hear that? I stayed quiet and took in the sounds. The feet on the deck, people whispering to each other, and the beating heart of the man next to me.

"You smell like a dragon, Luce," Natsu whispered.

His whisper was loud to my new, sensitive ears. They twitched as the beautiful sound left his mouth.

"I heard Cana and Mira in the bar when I woke up. What happened to me?" I asked.

"Your ears shouldn't be that sensitive, and your voice is different. Maybe I was right, " he said, mostly to himself.

"Right about what?" I asked, raising my voice, and I flinched at the volume.

He bent down to my level and I untucked myself from his chest. He then rammed his lips into mine and I instinctively melted. I felt something sharp hit my bottom lip and I pulled away. He looked at me with cucuriosity, then smiled and pointed to his neck. My body moved without my mind telling it to. My lips met his neck and I bit down hard. He growled softly and I let go of him. I looked at my mark and my teeth marks were laced with lavender scales. In the middle of the circle, there was a treble clef. I felt happiness swell in my gut.

"Well done, sound dragon slayer," Natsu hissed in my ear.

I knew he was right, the mark proved it. I just accepted it. We got out of bed and got dressed. I was wearing a light purple top and white pants. He wore a white, baggy shirt and his normal black pants. We went out on the deck and everyone said good morning. All the dragon slayers walked up to me, eyes filled with curiosity. The they all sniffed me and I hid behind Natsu who growled at the boys.

"Lucy, why do smell like one of us? I know what mating season does, but your smell was to much like a dragon," Wendy pipped up and everyone nodded in agreement.

We told them our thoughts and they all gasped. My ears then picked up the sudden rolling of waves. A ship?

"Hey, guys. I think a ship is heading our way," I whispered so no one heard but our small group of dragon slayers.

They tilted their heads, all but Natsu.

"Her hearing is much sharper than ours. You can try all you want but you can't hear it," Natsu mumbled, shaking his head.
They growled and stopped trying. A strong pair of arms wrapped around me, and warm breath brushed past my ear.

"That should help, now tell me where it is and if you can hear anything else," Natsu whispered.

As his breath and his words rushed past my ear, my senses heightened. I
consecrated hard on the sound.

Sir, we are about two days journey from the island.

She won't make it.

Captain! There's a ship with Fairy Tail's insignia!

Good. Our old friends can help us. Lamia Scale! Turn to the North sharp!

"They have a injured person aboard. They seemed to know the guild personally and the ship's name is Lamia Scale," I reported.

They all sighed. Then stared at me in awe.

"Nothing to worry about. Lamia Scale is a good friend of ours!" Wendy chipped happily.

"Listen up! Lamia Scale is not far away and the have injured nakama. Try to halt the ship!" Natsu barked.

I covered my ears and whimpered. He apologized and he rubbed the back of my neck. The dinging in my ears stopped and my whole body gave in. He caught me and chuckled.

"A dragon slayers weakness besides cars, the back of the neck right below the skull. The only dragon slayer immune to it is the dark dragon slayer, Rouge," Laxus grumbled.

I felt something drag my eye lids down, and without realizing it, I passed out in Natsu's arms.

Natsu's POV

Lucy suddenly passed out. Something was wrong. Her touch gave me shivers and a strange magic was around her.

"Luce?" I asked.

No answer.

"You knocked Bunny Girl out, Salamander," Gajeel mocked.

Worry spread across Wendy's face and she ran up to Lucy, who I placed gently on the floor. Everyone else gather around her, the rest of the crew flew in curiously. Wendy put pressure on Luce's stomach and I could feel a pain go threw my head. It hit me like a sword to the gut. I cursed as I put my hands over my temples, trying to calm the monster.

Help me...

Luce!

Natsu, their after me. Help me...

That's when I heard her scream and that's all I remembered.
