Cold Valentine

Link was your best friend. You had grown up in Ordon together. Both of you were the same age, and you always had to take care of the little ones. They were quite annoying, but you put up with them. Today you and Link finally got some free time together without the children. It was snowing, and you were freezing.

You and Link were sitting outside on the grass by his house. You wanted to go inside, but Link had to wait for something outside. You didn't want to go inside without him. You liked him a lot. As in you had a crush on him. Link was wearing a fur coat and a scarf, and he looked really cute. You were wearing a coat, but you were still cold. You hated the snow.

Link was saying something to you, but you weren't paying attention. You were too busy trying to keep warm. Your head was resting on Link's neck, and you were rubbing your hands together and blowing on them frantically. Link wasn't noticing you being cold, and that made you frustrated.

"Link, my hands are cold!" You told him. He looked at you and then he took off his gloves.

"Here, y/n. Tell me if you're still cold." Link said to you. He handed you his gloves and you put them on. You weren't that cold anymore, but an idea sparked in your mind.

"Link, my neck is cold." Link sighed and then he gave you his scarf. You wrapped it around your neck. Link was giving you his warm items so you wouldn't be cold. How sweet.

"Link, even though I'm wearing a coat, my body is still cold. But keep your coat, because I can't let you freeze either." You told him. You weren't expecting Link to do this, but he took off his coat and he put it on you.

"Y/n, I'm not going to freeze. Take the coat and shut up." You felt badly for Link when he said this. You knew better than to speak though. Link would've gotten mad. When Link said something, he meant it. He must've been freezing!

You waited with Link some more, but you were getting very impatient. And cold. Your face felt like it was about to melt off. Link kept looking at you. Every time he did so, he smiled. Link wrapped his arms around you.

"Still cold, y/n?" He asked. You nodded. You wrapped your arms around him, and you felt your face getting warmer. You were blushing! Now was the perfect time to test your idea.

"L-link?" You asked. You could barely speak, because you were shivering so much.

"Yes?" He asked you. He looked at you.

"M-my lips are cold. And um, can you warm them up?" You asked. Your heart was beating faster than ever. Hopefully he said yes, otherwise you would be heartbroken. He smiled, and then he nodded.

"Yes. Yes I can."

Your lips met with his. You were freezing on the outside, but on the inside, you were in a tropical paradise. The kiss seemed to last forever, and Link was looking at you with his beautiful blue eyes. It was a gentle kiss, and it was everything you had ever dreamed for. Eventually you guys broke apart.

You and Link looked near the entrance to the main part of Ordon village and you saw Rusl standing there in shock. "I-I'm just gonna put the package here, Link." He said quickly, and then he ran towards the village.

You and Link looked at each other, still hugging. Then both of you started laughing at the same time. You couldn't believe this! Link actually liked you, as an eternal partner of love!

"Oh Link." You said giggling. Link held your hand and he dragged you over to the package. He picked up the package, then looked at you.

"Hold this." He told you. You took it from him, but why did he want you to hold it? Then he swept you off your feet. You laughed in pleasure! Your heart was flying. He carried you to the ladder.

"I would carry you up the ladder, but that would be hard. Give me the package." Link said. You gave him the package and then you climbed up the ladder, Link following.

When you and him were in the house, Link put the package down and he made both of you some hot chocolate. He set the hot chocolate down on the table. "I'll be back." Link said.

"Okay!" You responded. You were so happy. You sipped your hot chocolate and waited for Link to return. He returned with the package, decorated in wrapping paper.

"Open it." He said. He was grinning from ear to ear in pleasure. You awkwardly took the package from him, your hands touching. Slowly and surely you opened the package. Link was sitting in front of you, his hot chocolate in his hands.

"Link!!!" You yelled. "Are you serious?!?!" He had given you a beautiful f/c necklace.

"As serious as I ever will be, y/n. Will you be my Valentine?" He said. You put the necklace on and then kissed Link, on the lips. He put his hot chocolate down and then embraced you, kissing back. You had completely forgotten that today was Valentine's Day!

Eventually your lips separated. Link looked at you for an answer to his question.

"Of course, Link. Is that even a question?"

Link laughed. "No, I guess not."
