I walked back into my room after my shower and saw Brayden asleep on my bed. I crawled into bed beside him and traced the scar on his chest. He moved and wrapped his arms around me before falling back asleep quickly. I closed my eyes.
"I'm so glad you're home, my princess." He whispered.
It felt so good to be home. With Asher and Brayden. I hadn't talked to Asher. I just didn't want to leave Brayden. He made me forget about everything and I felt so safe. I missed being home. I started to doze off as I cuddled closer to Brayden.
...
I woke up alone. I looked around and it was dark. I didn't like it. I stumbled out of my room and the rest of the house was dark too. I walked to the kitchen and flipped the switch. It didn't work.
"Powers out." Asher said scaring me. I couldn't help the small scream that escaped from me. I heard Brayden run up the stairs from the basement.
"What's wrong? What happened?" He asked looking around for whatever reason I screamed.
"Nothing, Asher just surprised me." I said quietly and sighed. "Sorry. "
"It's okay. The storm knocked out the power." He said as we sat at the table. I sat beside him and my eyes were slowly adjusting to the darkness.
"It's not raining," I said looking at the window.
"It's snow. There's a real blizzard out there." Brayden said pulling me into his lap. He kissed the back of my shoulder. I looked back at him. He was smiling at me. He sighed. "I missed you."
"Alright love birds," Asher caught our attention. "Battery powered candles."
He tossed three white candle shaped plastic lights and extra batteries.
"I'm putting more across the house. You can either pit them all in her room and sleep there or share." He said rushing off. He stopped at the bottom of the stairs and sighed. He spoke quickly, "Dawn's in my room. The storm scared her."
"Oh. Okay," I said. He was acting weird about her being there. He rushed off and Brayden kissed my shoulder.
"Daisy?" He asked.
"Yes?" He kissed my neck and I smiled.
"Do you mind that I sleep in your room all the time?" He asked. I stood up and pulled him behind me.
"I need a good pillow," I said as we walked up the stairs. I pulled him into my room. I laid down on my bed taking him with me. I sleep a lot. His arms wrapped around me immediately and he kissed the top of my head. I cuddled up to his chest.
"Still the best pillow ever." I whispered.
"I missed you so much." He said in my ear.
He lifted my chin and kissed me. I missed his lips against mine and his lip ring on my lip. He deepened the kiss before moving to be on top of me. He balanced his weight on his arms and caged me beneath him. He bit my lip before moving and kissing my neck, careful not to hurt the bruises.
I put my hands under his shirt and felt his abs and moved up to his chest before taking off his shirt. He moved his hands onto my sides under my shirt before pulling my shirt off and kissing my shoulder. He bit my collar bone and I couldn't help the small moan that escaped. He chuckled and I felt my face heat up. I quickly forgot my embarrassment when his hands moved to my pants. He kissed my stomach just above my pants and his lip ring was cold against my stomach, I odly liked it. He looked up at me as if asking for permission. I let him. I let him go all the way.
