Love is a flower
Opening on the first day of spring
It's something that happens,
Something you cannot stop
Love is a bird
Beating its wings against your chest
It makes you want to take flight,
Never landing on the ground
Love is a waterfall
Cascading down rocks
Giving you waves of emotion
You never knew you had
Love is a ray of sun
Bursting through the clouds
It makes you happy
In times that are grey
Love is the ocean
Spreading across the entire earth
It's big, vast and wide,
Making your heart want to explode
Love is a tree
Dancing in the wind on a rainy day
Allowing you to hope
That good things are coming
Love is shelter
From a raging storm outside
It gives you comfort
When things are falling apart
Love is the peak
Of the highest mountain
Making you feel on top of the world
Where nothing can bring you down
Love is the good amongst the bad
The happy within the sad
Love is the reason you get out of bed in the morning
And go to sleep at night
So what is Love?
Love is the reason you still smile
