Biology

Percy POV
After lunch I found my way to the Biology classroom which might I add was quite hard considering I had to throw away my map. Let's just say I will now constantly remind myself that when Leo asks to see your extra saucy meatballs for his catapult he built make sure your bag isn't wide open and that you never give him the dang meatballs in the first place!!

When I stepped in the classroom I saw everyone was already sitting with someone fantastic so I sat down at an empty lab table. I looked to see who was in my class and saw that Annabeth was sitting with Hazel one of the girls who she hangs out with. I noticed I was staring at Annabeth and apparently she notice too because she gave me a smile and brought out a notebook and a pencil to take notes with. She seems pretty smart.

Two guys came in late they both looked really muscular. One had blonde hair and a small scar on his face while the other had black hair. They apologized to the teacher and he quickly said "it's quite alright Luke and Frank, just bring us home a trophy." I saw they where both wearing letterman jackets and figured they where on the football team. I also figured out that the Luke guy was Annabeth's boyfriend. He had winked at her and Annabeth had started blushing madly and looked down at her empty notebook.

The teacher came up to where I was sitting and asked me for my name. I told him my name and he smiled saying "you will be sitting with Grover when he comes back tomorrow." That name sounds familiar. Oh yeah that was the kid the guys were talking about at lunch. I nodded and then he walked away and started talking about what we where going to learn this year and the different projects we would do. He also said that we would be starting a project tomorrow where he pairs us up and we have to do some sort of presentation to show DNA.

Soon the bell rang and everyone piled out the door. I noticed that Luke had his arm around Annabeth and they where laughing while Hazel and Frank where walking really close but not close enough for their hands to touch as it dangled at their sides. I averted my gaze and saw try out posters for the swim team. I quickly grabbed the poster and walked down the hall until I walked into someone.

I looked up and saw Nico's books sprawled across the floor. I hurriedly helped him pick them up as I apologize he nodded and picked up the flyer I had been holding. He then said "are you trying out?" I told him I wasn't sure yet because I don't have a ride home. He then said something I didn't expect "you should try out, I mean you said you liked to swim and our swim team sucks, plus my sister Annabeth can take you home with us."

I thanked him got up and ran for the pool texting my mom what I was doing. She replied back: Ok honey! Have fun and be safe. Glad you made new friends!! Good luck at tryouts I know you will beat all of those losers. :) love mom. I laughed and jumped into my bathing suit heading for the pool. I always care an incase of emergency swim suit with me.
