Percy POV
I got out of the car smiling because now I didn't have to take the bus. Nico seems like a cool guy and his sister, Annabeth, she seems nicer then I expected her to be but I mean a cheerleader Really. Am I the only one who sees the irony in that. Anyway there was a couple hours of sunlight left and I had a boat load of home work to do.

Three hours later

I had finished up all of my homework, with a couple of distractions here and there, except for biology I swear it looked like a foreign language to me and there was no chance I was getting it any time soon I have already been sitting here for 20 minutes staring at my blank paper. Than I remember I had Annabeth's number... I debated in my head about texting her and then I went for it remembering someone had said she was the smartest girl in the grade.

Me: hey it's Percy.

Annabeth: hey... Not to be rude but why are you texting me?

Me: oh umm I was wondering if you could help me with the biology homework.

Annabeth: oh sure, of course! We can FaceTime or I can drive over and help you in person.

I didn't want to tell her that I didn't really understand face time so I went with another excuse

Me: can we do it in person it would be easier for me to learn it that way. Oh by the way my apartment is on the second floor number 304.

Annabeth: ok cool on my way.

Annabeth POV
I was a little surprised when Percy texted me and to be honest with myself he was cute be he also annoyed me a little. The only reason I agreed to help him was because I love school and biology just happens to be one of my best subjects. I knocked on his apartment door and Percy opened it with a shy smile. I thought it was hilarious that he was embarrassed about asking me to help him. I accidentally let out a small laugh, luckily he didn't seem to notice.

We sat down at a table and started on his homework, he truly sucked at biology. After an hour it was dark out and I decided it was time for a break. Well Percy tried 7 times to get me to let us have a break so I thought we should just take one. When I told Percy we should take a break he dropped his books on the floor and flopped onto the couch. I laughed and joined him. We started talking and then before we knew it an hour passed by. I looked at my phone and hurriedly got up saying "oh crap I'm late, sorry Percy I have to go I will help you finish during lunch." I rushed out the door and down the stairs and hopped in my car. I was meeting Luke for dinner later.
