Oh no the feels

Annabeth POV
Its been two weeks since Percy and I started on our biology project together we are doing two models one of a strand of DNA and one is going to be a board with a bunch of information about blood on it. The only reason we aren't already done with it is because I get so distracted when I am around him especially when he is either constantly whining for food or a break. I am not complaining though it is great having him as a partner we get along so well he even came up with a nickname for me wise girl. I like the knick name so I let him call me it.

There is only one thing that is worrying me about spending so much time with him... And it's that I think I am starting to like him and not just as a friend. I mean he makes me smile and laugh so easily and I can wear my old t shirt and jeans around him and he doesn't seem to care. But I am with Luke so I can't even go there... the thought saddens me and I lower my head. Good thing Nico is driving today or I would have run into a pole by now.

Percy POV
I am pacing around my room then I flop on my bed and sigh loudly. My partnership with Annabeth has proven to be difficult, extremely difficult. It's not like she is a bad partner, its the opposite actually. She is perfect in every way thats the problem. I knew I had a little crush on Annabeth before but now it has grown tremendously. I mean the way she smiles and laughs and her blonde princess curls. I think she looks the best when she is wearing her t shirt and jeans it just fits her so well and you feel like you see the real her. I remember the first time I saw her in an outfit like that I let out a dramatic gasp and she rolled her eyes and said "Aphrodite would kill me if she knew." I shook these thoughts out of my head she has a boyfriend and I have kind of become friends with him. I can't act on my feelings it could ruin everything.

I hear a car horn blaring and automatically know that Nico is driving. I grab my school stuff and my swim stuff, today is my first swim meet and I can't be distracted. I run out of my room grab a blue pancake and bite into it as I hurry out the door.
