“What on earth are telling me?” roared my Superior.

“Well sir, I caught the person, but it turns out I got the wrong agent, it wasn’t Agent Mason but in fact some girl named Lita Cane.”

“Don’t tell me what I already know Renolds. I want to know how she stopped her.”

“Wait, how did you know Agent Mason wasn’t at my school?”

“Because that lady sent the picture of the girl Lita to all our enemy organizations and now everyone thinks that our top agent has finally been photographed.”

“Well that’s not good sir.”

“No shit Renolds.”

“Well what do you want me to do about it, sir?”

“You get to play babysitter.” Said my Superior, with the scariest grin on his face I had ever seen.

A few hours later ~

It was starting to get dark as I walked along a nearby park, thinking about how I finally screwed myself over. I was most likely going to end up spending the rest of my career trying to make sure that Lita kid would be alright. Why didn’t I bother to listen and actually think that maybe she was telling the truth. Doesn’t matter, it’s too late, I thought guiltily, she’s caught up in something she doesn’t even know about and for once it truly is my fault.

Further along the path I was walking, I saw a girl sitting under a nearby tree. At closer look I realized it was Lita. Could this day get any worse? Walking over I tried to strike up a conversation.

“Is that a WeTab?”  I asked, while standing next to a tree slightly out of her sight range.

“Yeah, I got it for my last birthday” she responded, while slowly turning around to see who see was talking to. “You!” she practically screamed, when she saw I was the one talking to her. “What the hell are you doing here?”

“Look, we need to talk about what happened.”

“No we don’t. I never want to see you again.”

“Calm down” I said, while slowly reaching one hand out to stop her from leaving.

“Don’t touch me!” She screeched, while jumping back a few paces. I noticed tears were starting to form in the corners of her eyes.

“Please just let me . . .” I started to say, but before I could finish Lita had ran off into the night. I debated following her, but realized if I did, it would only aggravate her more. How could I be so damn stupid, she probably needed time to think about all that’s happened recently.

Waking up I got a look of my surroundings, or more like lack of. I was stuck in a dull gray cell with literally nothing in the room, what was I supposed to do, sleep on the concrete floor? As if. Walking over to the door, I looked through the bars trying to see down the corridor. There was nothing to see, it was just a long stretch of dull grey walls, celling, and floor. There wasn’t even a single person, it was like I was on some deserted island, left all alone to starve to death. Well isn’t that a wonderful idea. There was only one thought going through my mind, and that was how on earth was I going to escape?
