36. NO MORE SECRETS

Tuesday Afternoon

Aiden and Julian were sitting in a secluded area of the hotel's main dining room, completely cut off from the rest of the guests as they decided to stop and have lunch after spending the last few hours gambling at the casino.

"Are we still up for getting those spa treatments today?" Julian asked while scanning his menu. "Or do you want to put it off for tomorrow?"

"No, we can still do it this evening," Aiden replied, equally distracted by all the delicious sounding items on the hotel's menu. "Besides, we're booked for it today and I doubt that I could get it rescheduled for tomorrow. I don't think there are any more openings left for the rest of this week."

Fortunately for them, it was a light crowd in the restaurant today, so they could actually hear themselves speak to one another as they held a conversation.

The crowd was lighter than what it was yesterday when Aiden and Julian came in trying to snag a table. It was so packed that they ultimately had to opt for ordering room service for the evening.

"As stunning as your ridiculously priced Versace shades look on you right now, it'd be great if you showed a little respect and took them off while we're having lunch." Julian, after finally deciding on what he wanted to order, sat his menu down in order to reach across the table to remove Aiden's shades. "Much better."

Aiden, leaning forward with a mischievous grin plastered on his face.

"I would've happily taken them off had you asked me nicely." In a swift motion, his hand darted in front of him and grabbed the shades back from Julian. He then, ever so smoothly, slid them back on his face and leaned back in his chair. "How about you try asking me nicely this time."

"You really want to play games with me right now?" Julian chuckled. "I'm not in the mood, but if you want to take it there, we can definitely take it there. It's entirely up to you."

"Are you trying to get me to back down with that measly little threat or give me a boner?" Aiden smirked. "Because you literally just did the latter." Julian blushed after Aiden stood from his seat to show Julian the proof. "You really have a way with words, Jules. You should watch how you say things because, evidently, anything you do is enough to get me hard."

"Sit down before someone sees that!" Julian playfully tossed his napkin at Aiden after he took his seat. This time, without having to be told, he pushed his shades upwards to rest on top of his head while staring into Julian's enticing brown eyes. "Why are you like this? So extra all the time?"

"Extra? You made me this way," Aiden teased.

Before either of them could say anything else, Maia - their server, returned and took their orders. As Aiden spoke to her, Julian took the time to examine his irresistible companion. Aiden truly was a gift from the Gods and whether or not Julian had just now come to that realization, he knew that it was true. Thomas and Lydia created one of the most beautiful people that Julian had ever laid his eyes on.
