We've been getting closer together, Jessabell and I.  She's opened up a lot,and so have I. The others accepted her fairly quickly into our group. Kath was the happiest since there was going to be another girl she could talk to about womanly things that I didn't really like hearing about. We've all been together. Lately I've seen the military lurking around the place. They've already started looking for us. I guess Garrett didn't give them a heads up on how normal we actually were. We're like any other awkward teenagers. Our group of outcasts consist of "The Gay" which was Dem. "The not so Innocent virgin" which was Kath. "The silent but deadly girl" which my Jessa. And there's me. The outcasts in the outcasts. I was "The Mystery" because not all of them understood me. Grace used to be in our group. But because of her betrayal she's been cut off. She was "The groupie of groupies" . Yea I have to admit we're all different. But that doesn't mean our difference have to define everything about us.

Today we were going to the mall. Dem somehow got a job at Spenser's and he's been making money for us to live on. Kath and Jessa have jobs too. I guess I'm the freeloader. "Hey Kath. Have you noticed the military lately?" She was busy slurping her  smoothie, but she just slightly nodded. "Yea, I've seen them around. They dress like those guys from Men in Black"   I laughed and shook my head. Dem plopped in a seat next to me. "Dam. You should really get a job" I raised an eyebrow at him. "Me? Work? You have got to be shitting me" He slugged at my arm "I shit you not,Dam. You should really  stop lazing around and  go make some money"  "Why not just work the street corners instead,Dem? God forbid you have the legs for it"  He snorted and and punched my side. "Oh Ha-ha. Very funny" "No seriously, old men would love to get a taste of you"  Kath started choking on her smoothie and started laughing. Dem pouted and went back to his work "Not funny guys!"  Jessabell work over to us with bags in her hands. "You guys really need to stop teasing Dem" I chuckled. "What's  the fun in that?" Kath wiped her face. "Damien's on a roll today. He might make me start pissing my pants" Jessa shook her head. "You guys are so weird" I stuck my tongue at her "Says the weirdo who lives with us"  She giggled and sat in between us.  This was our life now. I never wanted this to end.

But it came to a halt. I noticed Grace later that evening. I knew I should've told them But I didn't want to raise suspicion. She was watching us. Her purple  eyes staring into the back on my head. I knew they'd catch up sooner or later. It was only a matter of time. She was perfectly hidden in a trench coat and shades. She had a bob cut.She looked different than before. That was expected. My group steadily walked past her paying her no mind keeping up with their own conversations. As she slipped an envelope into my hand and whispered "You can't live in a utopia forever" They were going to come for us. I just knew it.

That night I sat them all down. They all stared at me as I paced around the room. "Well fuck. If you're  going to tell us something. Tell us! Don't keep me in suspense!" Dem shouted while losing his temper.

I threw the envelope on the table and pictures slipped out. They all looked at them. Jessabell gasped covering her mouth. "These..What are these"  They were pictures when we were taken and some of people being tortured and even raped. A picture of Kath being injected with a grey solution with her face expressionless. This was a horrid sight. And it was tough to take in.  I looked into each of their terror stricken faces. "We have to stop this"  without an argument they all nodded.

We were going to stop all this.
