Adam's POV

Right when Tristan blew the whistle I ran to the ball, so did Anna. She beat me to it 'cause she actually used her brain. Instead of running like a dumbass, she jumped because we were on trampolines. She bounced by the ball and the ball bounced with her.

As she made her way to the net, Tristan came at her. Instead of kicking, he jumped to her and grabbed her, picking her up and then carrying her away. She was smiling and laughing, and honestly, she looked so beautiful.

I was lost in my thoughts staring at her, until Iman finally yelled at me to get the ball. When I went to get it, Liam was already on it. He was able to jump his way to the next without having to worry about Tristan. I called for Tristan to come and he came, but he dropped Anna.

"Sorry Anna!" He yelled as he ran to her and helped her.

"It's okay," she said, as she jumped past him and to Liam, who took a shot. It was blocked. Anna went in for the rebound and scored. Then she jumped back to their net and Dylan came out.

I was able to keep the ball for most of it, I took multiple shots, but she blocked every, single, one. I realized what I was doing wrong. Her weakness is upper 90's shots. So of course, that's where I decided to take my next shot. I knew that the ball would go in for sure, but to my surprise, it didn't.

Because of the trampolines, she was able to jump up high enough to block the ball and she didn't seem as afraid to jump that high like she was at lunch. At lunch she couldn't dive like that, only because she was scared if getting hurt. But here, the trampolines saved her, and she was able to do it.

I stood there, baffled, and proud. A smile grew on my face, I felt like a coach who had just won the world cup. I was going to talk to her about the save she made, but, of course, Tristan came in an ruined it.

"Woah Anna that was gnarly" he said. His California surfer accent really coming out.

"Oh my god you sound like one of those surfers in those movies" she laughed. Her laugh was beautiful, I couldn't help but stare at her and smile.

I never realized I had my phone in my pocket, because when it buzzed it scared the shit out of me. I jumped and fell back, my phone still ringing. Everyone came to me as I picked it up.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello, is this Adam Dunbar?" the voice asked.

"Um yeah" I replied.

"Okay, hello, it's Zidane. As you know, all professional men's football clubs are signing girls for a season. And I believe you said there was a girl that you think we should sign?" He asked.

"Yeah!" I said.

"Great, where can we see how she plays?" He asked.

"She has training on Sunday at the Football center. You can see her play forward and goalkeeper there" I offered. Obviously I was taking about Anna. I really wanted her to get this and it was going to be a huge surprise for her.

"Okay great. Send us directions and what time it will take place and we'll see you soon" he said.

"Okay, thank you so much" I said.

"No, thank you" he said before hanging up.

A huge smile grew on my face as I looked at Anna.
