Jerome growled as he watched Rumer and Jack make their way into the restaurant, which conveniently held a group of Barbara's men.
He didn't really agree with the unveiling of Rumer and Jack, but he obviously didn't get to say too much on the subject if he wanted to keep his anatomical identification of manhood.
Jack, on the other hand, he had no worries. He had a beautiful girl on his arm, a get out of jail free pass, and was untouchable, all thanks to Rumer. The pair were dressed to the nines, Jack in an impressive pinstripe Giorgio Armani black suit and Rumer in a tight, lace, ruby red dress. Rumer discretely lead the way, remembering Jim say that the easiest one to make talk would be here.
She lead Jack towards the back, turning opposite the kitchen, she found a small room, occupied by three men, two standing, one sitting. The one she was looking for had a scar leading into his hairline, and a weak spot for a woman in lace. Rumer released Jack's arm and made her way to her target, Tyson. This being his first rodeo, Jack just leaned against the wall and watched Rumer work. She pushed between the two men in front of Tyson, smiling at the seated man once she reached him. Jack got angry when she took it upon herself to take a seat in his lap, so he could just imagine how Jerome felt when Rumer had to get them through certain tasks with seductive behavior.
Tyson seemed to be quite happy with the situation, smiling at Rumer's puckered red lips. "You need help pretty lady?" He questioned, slipping his arm around her waist like he'd done it plenty of times before.
Rumer smiled sweetly, rubbing fictional lint from his shoulders. "We want you to give us this cute little restaurant. Do you think you could do that? For me? Just... Get out and let us have it." Tyson laughed, using his free hand to wipe away the tear he'd shed in his laughing fit. "Now why would I do that, baby doll?"
"Jack, close the door please." Rumer called to him, eyes still on Tyson, "I apparently have to give this idiot a dumb version of a pretty straight-forward statement. Ahem, I no like Barbara. This her place. If I no like Barbara, I no want her have good things." She leaned close, whispering to him now, "Did you understand that time, baby doll, or do you need to read my lips?"
Tyson, in a fit of hurt pride and anger, yelled like a brute, "You slut! Don't you -" Before he could finish his insult, Rumer snapped his neck and Jack shot the two gun-whipping lackeys. With a playful roll of her eyes, Rumer stepped over the bodies and laid her hand back over Jack's arm. "Men, they're always so prideful and stubborn."
When they got back to the dining area, Rumer released Jack and went to the door, signaling Jerome that everything went well. She closed the door and went to the middle of the restaurant, "I am sorry for this little bit of disruption, we just wanted to make sure everyone knew that this location is under new management." The people dining just went back to their food, the man at the front desk though, he spoke up, "What makes you think we want to work under your management?"
Now a waitress yells out, "Yeah! I was hired to work for Barbara!" Jack joined Rumer, arm slipping around her waist, "Well, the cons... I have a gun." He said, waving his gun around, "And the pros, well, what do you know! I still have that gun. And so does she. And the men we have outside. I understand your concern though, please. Think it over, and let us know how you're feeling."
Jack put the gun to his ear, feigning a strain to hear, "Oh? No one? Then get back to work!" Rumer smiled at everyone as they went back to their stations, "Sorry, he gets first day jitters. It'll be more comfortable tomorrow."
Seeing Jack and Rumer get the place settled down, Jerome went to meet with Barbara to plead for her forgiveness.
