6 days, 5 hours, and 6 minutes since he'd seen Dan. Phil had been counting.
Phil wondered if Daniel had been going to school. Phil certainly hadn't.
Is it killing you just how much it's killing me!?
But this particular day, the 6th day without Dan, Phil finally decided he'd get out of bed and trudge his way to the high school. He couldn't stay in bed for the rest of his life, no matter how much he wanted to.
It hadn't occurred to Phil how much weight he had lost. (A-Common phanfic content, I know) The only foods he'd eaten were the bags of marshmallows he had left over from when he bought hot chocolate.
The boy stared at himself in the mirror. His shirt he hadn't changed out of was hanging loosely around his shoulders. He turned away from the glass, walking into the bathroom. He turned on the water, not paying attention to which knob he turned. The water could be freezing cold for all he cared. He began taking off one piece of clothing at a time. He hopped into the shower. The water burned his back, but he didn't mind.
Once he was done washing up, he found a clean pair of jeans, and a short sleeved button up shirt in the drying machine. They must have been in there for ages, considering the fact he hadn't really changed much since 'the incident.' Phil cringed at the thought of that name. It made it sound like such a disgraceful act. But, quite possibly it was, otherwise Phil wouldn't feel how he did.
Unbuttoning each individual button, Phil sighed. He pulled his arms through the sleeves, and began buttoning the shirt up again. He pulled his pants over the fresh pair of boxers he put on. The outfit still fit, other than the noticeable gap between Phil's neck and the collar of the shirt. He had to admit, he felt much better than he had before. He brushed his teeth, and on his way out of the house, grabbed a somewhat stale granola bar.
[at school]
Phil had not spotted Dan at all, and whenever he thought about him, the same words popped into his mind.
Too embarrassed to show up. He knows I came today. He probably saw me walking and turned around. He hates me.
Instead, Dan spotted a tangled mess of curls, resembling rich soil. Pj. Whenever Phil heard anything about Pj, his lips curled into a disgusted frown. His nose crinkled up and he shook with fear. Phil instantly turned around, the memories of Liguori's sharp voice in his ears.
'Aw, is that pretty boy, wearing pink?' Phil could feel the pushes onto the ground, and the warm blood dripping from various places on his body after Pj had laid his hands on him. 'Let's hear the gossip, queer. Got a boyfriend? No? Of course not, not even a mental kid like Howell would want to fuck you.'
Phil sped up, practically running away from Pj even though he was sure he wasn't chasing him. He found his locker, and exchanged his literature books for his biology ones, nearly dropping the heavy text books onto the tile. He gently closed the locker door and looked both ways before walking to his class, like a child crossing the street. The halls were empty. Had he missed the bell? Shit, he thought, once again running, this time to his next class.
Someone's shoulder rubbed against Phil's as he turned the corner. He jumped back clenching his eyes closed, preparing to hear Pj's harsh words. But when he opened them again, he was greeted with sad, nut brown eyes, the soft pain noticeable with just a glance.

So I was just wondering if I should continue this story? There's much more to come but I'm not sure if it's enjoyable.
I also have many ideas for another phanfic that would be less cliche but I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for the votes, and make sure to recommend this story if you enjoy it, you guys are amazing <3
