/warning: swearing- (really long chap.)
1483 Bryer Ave.
Phil took a left, a right, and one more left. It felt like he had been driving for hours, but as he checked the time, he'd only be driving for 20 minutes at the most. The silence of the car tempted his mind to think about Dan, but he resisted. Although sometimes resisting temptation is hard.Phil thought of how he would describe Dan if someone asked him to. How could he ever come up with words to describe what it felt like to kiss him? Cherry red lips, soft, fluffy brown hair, warm smile. Prettiest eyes you could ever stare into. His cheeks glow an adorable shade of pink whenever he's nervous. Probably not the best fashion sense, but he looks perfect anyways. Phil took another left. The silence was getting too much for him. He didn't want to think about Dan's lips or his brown hair. He didn't want to think about how perfect he looked. He just wanted to drive to Chris. Stare into his eyes. Think about him. But did he really want that? Probably not. You just have to face it. All you want is Dan. Dan is the only thing you'll ever want.
As Phil spun the wheel to the left, he noticed he was nearing Chris's street. He turned the radio, turned the volume down to 5, and relaxed as he made just one more left. But Phil never made it to Chris's house.
-Somewhat Dan's pov-
Dan's school day was miserable. He kept remembering the terror filling Phil's eyes as PJ hit him. As he walked the bustling streets of London, he took his phone out of his pocket. 3 missed calls, from an unknown caller. He unlocked his phone, instantly calling back the number."Hello?" he said harshly, anxiously wanting to know who was calling him.
"Daniel Howell?" the voice sounded familiar but Dan just couldn't remember who it reminded him of.
"Yeah? Who is this?" he mumbled over the speaker.
"Chris Kendall, from middle school? Do you remember me?"
It instantly clicked. "Yeah!" Dan chuckled. "How are you, Chris?"
Chris sounded like he'd been living in a trash can for the past fifteen years when he responded. "Just fine. Until today. Did you hear about Phil? You guys are still friends, yeah? You're number was the first in his phone-...." Dan cut him off quickly.
"Why the fuck were you looking in his phone? What happened?" Dan asked, worriedly, his mind raced as his pace increased in speed.
"H-.. His cars gone, completely wrecked. I-I'm here with him now, he was just seconds away from my house. T-they're taking him to the h-hospital, you should go.. he was calling for you..." Chris's voice cracked as he spoke, his sharp tone sinking deep into Dan.
"W-what.. I-is h-he o-o-okay.." It was hard for Dan to process everything Chris just said. He felt like he was going to faint, now his pace was slowing down, and he found himself in the middle of a busy street.
"I-I don't know, Dan. He's gone now, the ambulance is driving away. Just go to St. Palace hospital, t-that's where they are taking him, I assume."
".....yeah... right..." Dan waved as a cab drove by, and got in. "I have to go, Chris, bye.. See you at the hospital?" Dan said quickly.
"Yeah.. sometime later, I can't make it right now okay? Just find out if Phil's okay, alright?" Chris hung up, and Dan placed his phone down on the seat next to him.
"Where are you heading kid?" The man said angrily.
"S-St. Palace.." Dan replied. His voice trembled as he spoke.
