"Get your butt over here, we're going shopping." Ava stated, and even over the phone I could tell she meant business.
"What for?" I asked, biting my lip. Whenever she said 'we're going shopping', I knew I wasn't going to like the reason behind it.
"We're going to a party." She said simply. I sighed and switched the phone to my other ear.
"Ava," I groaned "Please, no. You know I hate parties. Last time we went, you shoved me into some random guy and ran off to creep on Will." I whined.
"How was I supposed to know he was obsessed with Star Wars and comic books?" I burst out laughing. Of all the possible guys, she shoves me into the hands of Jake "may the force be with you" Samuels. I cringed just thinking about it. "Pleaaasseee?"
I sighed again, putting my head in my free hand. "Fine." I mumbled.
Her high-pitched squeal pierced my ear as I hung up the phone.

"How about this one?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me, holding up a red dress that didn't even look like enough material to cover someone's butt--well, at least mine.
"That's a nice shirt." I teased, flipping though the racks. She huffed and threw it over her arm, sticking her tounge out at me.
"Well, i'm trying it on." She said defiantly. "What do you think of this one?" She held up a light blue dress, looking hopeful.
"Um, well, I, uh---" Her big blue eyes sparkled, and I groaned internally. "I'll try it." to be honest, blue wasn't my color. I had nothing against it, but my blonde hair and brown eyes did. She grabbed a few more dresses, piling them on me.
"Okay, let's go try them on!" She chirped excitedly. As we walked over to the dressing rooms, I saw a gorgeous white dress. It was made entirely out of lace with a white slip underneath, only where needed. My heart fluttered, knowing it was perfect.
"Wait, Ava, look!" I said, motioning to the dress with my head, considering my hands were full with piles of lime green, hot pink, and sea blue. "Isn't it beautiful?" I murmured.
"Oh gosh, Livy. Out of all of these dresses, you pick the old lady one." She teased, rolling her eyes.
"Just get it down and add it to this pile, please?" I whined. She rolled her eyes once more, but stood on her tip toes, pulling it down and adding it to the rest. We hurried into the dressing rooms, her eager to try on the skimpy red dress. As for me, I couldn't wait to slip into the lace one. To make her happy, I put on the hot pink one first. With a bubble skirt, it didn't do much for my figure. I stepped out and waited for her, when she finally appeared she looked insanely hot. It fit her just right, instantly making me wish I was her. She did a full turn, looking at herself in the mirror.
"I'm getting this one." She smiled brightly. Yes, it was short, but it looked amazing on her.
"As for me, this color is giving me a headache." I smiled at her, heading back to the dressing room.
"Try on the blue one?" She asked from outside the door. I bit my lip, holding up the lace dress. As I slipped it on, I couldn't wait to see it.
Sheepishly, I slowly stepped out of the dressing room. Ava's jaw dropped as she turned and saw me. Ouch, that bad?
I stood in front of the mirror, my own jaw dropping. The dress was perfect, like I knew it would be. It hugged my curves perfectly, making me look--
"SEXY!!" Ava exclaimed, rushing to my side. "Turn around, look at that butt!" I blushed slightly, turning to look. Wow, she wasn't kidding. I bit my lip, not able to hide my smile.
"I take back what I said about it being for old ladies." She said quietly, making me laugh softly. "You're getting that."
And I did.
