My heart was beating really fast now, because I knew that was Miley's ring tone and that meant that she was in there and that meant I had to go in there too didn't it?

As I walked across the road again, my heart raced frantically. It was getting darker and darker now and everyone in this town knew it wasn't clever to go past the Old Forest at night (never mind going in!) There are lots of rumours and stories describing supernatural incidents and tragedies. Some, which may be true, but I didn't believe them and neither did Miley. That was good though because right now I had to go in, for Miley's sake who knows what could have happened to her!

I was walking in now, the shadowy trees looming over me, my hands shivering because of the cold. What if I couldn't find Miley? What if I got lost in here and could never get out? What if that ring tone wasn't even real? I'll be trapped in here forever!

All these thoughts were running through my head when suddenly, I heard something. A sort of shuffling above me in the branches. Then I saw a huge black crow gliding from one branch to the other, and then it stopped. The bird was about three meters away from me and when I looked into it's eyes they were a deep purple colour. But what was more strange, they looked very human like.. I looked away then, a bit disturbed but when I looked back it was gone. It was quite strange, but it felt like it was telling me something through it's eyes. I decided not to think about it.

However, I was alone again in this deep forest, it had been ten minutes and I was looking for some kind of clue as to where Miley or her phone was. I decided to ring it again and this time it came from not so far away. So I shoved my hands in my pockets and crept along to where the sound was coming from. Even though it was dark I could still see the brick path leading in towards the heart of the forest. The branches were overgrown here and very prickly, as I was trying to find my way on the path. Every couple of seconds I glanced around me because I was still very anxious. However, it was less freakier than I had imagined, but I still had no idea what I was doing. All I could see were the huge black silhouettes of the trees, and at that moment I felt a sharp bitter breeze at the side of my cheek, I shuddered. This was probably the most bravest thing I had done in my life!
